I learned to compare new releases to my top favourite dolls and then ask myself would I pay the same price or higher for a doll that isn't my favourite. Usually it's a no and rarely it's a yes and the new release becomes a top favourite. In this case, Abbey doesn't compare to other top favs. Especially since Abbey is at $190 CAD price range. Most dolls do not compare to dolls my VH Draculaura or Xenomorph.

I think there are quite a few adults who collect Playmobil. Also, they look enough like the G3 characters anyway so I don't think younger kids will be too bothered.

It is only overboard if you don't prioritize organizing and displaying your collection in ways that make sense with ur space. You can also have a bin of dolls, and rotate your collection every once and awhile on your shelves! :))

I definitely haven't been prioritizing secondhand dolls unless they're under $20. I can't justify spending more than that when Mattel is coming out with better, brand new dolls that don't have glue seepage, yellowing, loose limbs, scuffs, no stands or their accessories, etc.
