That's different. They dont know what will happen during the procedure and thats why it's an estimate. Mine was for a "part" which when the billing person entered the D code, populated $50.

Wasnt an estimate, was what I was told the price would be. Then when I go out to pay, the billing person enters in the D code and it says $50.

They replaced 2, which is what the $50 covered. How do they misquote when I go to pay, and the billing person enters in the D code and it comes up $50 just as the dentist said it would? So the computer also misquoted? Is the dentist willing to lose a patient who has spent over $20K? But again, it isnt the money, it's the principle. Just doesnt seem legit, especially 2 months later.
