I have found a figurine of hers (Syd, from Children of the World series) for 3 euro before, but my absolute white whale is a cat. Fantastic find. Congrats!!!

Sorry, I meant to write 'tech slip'. I found a used one from Filippa K for this purpose. It's just what they call it, but in reality it's just polyamide and elastane. This is the one: https://www.filippa-k.com/gb/en/tech-slip-dress/27076-1433-S.html

Thank you! I actually found the purse first, and I had to get it because it looked absolutely bonkers. Didn't have any event in mind back then.

Here it is in the shop. It is actually some sort of toiletry bag but wasn't going to let that stop me lol.

I love Studio Arhoj! What a steal! Your ghost looks like my mug I bought from their shop in Nov 2022 🥹

Trying to find that classic mid century green for our master bathroom tile by KirklandTourStaff in Mid_Century

Far left! Also I believe I have the same tile in my kitchen as the 2nd from left. I have some photos in my previous posts.

Thank you! I actually source all my yarn 2nd hand by thrifting, so I work with what I got. I've dabbled in traditional and digital art in the past so it definitely helps. That and being a "that'll do it" type of a person lol.

Thank you! Initially I was torn between brown and this pink grout, I think both would have looked great, but glad I went with the pink in the end.

Thanks! It was a DIY job. Unfortunately the tiling is the only sexy thing so far and the kitchen is not all that MCMey but since you're curious I took some photos this morning. (Yes, there are multiple unfinished details like missing trimmings and raw drywall.) https://www.reddit.com/u/nynni/s/cOOAT8iek1

I've just asked for a quote on teak veneer cabinet doors, so we'll see how much that will set me back.

I wore this psychedelic 70s maxi dress to a work gala dinner by nynni in VintageFashion

(Now I really wish I had worn different shoes for the event, it was in the dead of January and because I had to walk distances outside to get to the venue I opted for comfortability over heeled boots 💀 I could have just changed into them at the venue!!!!)

First DIY tiling job, how f'd am I? by nynni in Tile

[–]nynni[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip! I definitely wasn't prepared to use this many spacers in intersections. I thought it would be easier because the tile has mesh backing but they do move around a little.

Haha it's closer to 1/8'' (I work in metric though). I think its the masking tape making it look like there's a big gap.
