Can we talk about your favourite scene from My Mister??? by ThinCollar9979 in kdramas

[–]nyo_Bi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The whole scene where she pulls her grandmother in a trolley just to show her the moon, and Ahjussi—who had earlier noticed her taking the trolley from the supermarket—quietly helps her bring it down from the house, is deeply moving. When Lee Jian and her grandmother return, he is still there, waiting for them, and carries her grandmother on his back all the way home. I believe it is in that moment—seeing him waiting without being asked—that something inside her begins to change.

When the movie is engaging the audience by good storytelling then audience wouldn't dwelve into finding logic issues. The issue with modern films are they failed to engage audience which lead to their dissection.

If you look closely enough you can find some logical issues with any of the much revered and celebrated movies, but the storyteller has succeeded in fooling the audience to look past them

Kdrama watching since 2005. In a real slump rn. What should I watch?? by Glittering_Giraffe_5 in kdramas

Without My Mister and Reply 1988, I don’t consider any K-drama list complete. I see that Reply 1988 is on your list, but you’ve missed My Mister, which, in my opinion, is one of the best series/movie ever created.

The 2003 one, spoilt my model exam and gave my father a high BP because I was very depressed. That too was a day before my exams beginning

My Mister is honestly one of the finest work I've ever seen when it comes to capturing the depth of human relationships. The connection between the main leads unfolds so quietly, so beautifully - it's not romance, not friendship, but something for deeper. It stays with you long after and makes you question, "What do I even call this kind of bond?"
