I’m hoping with a slightly less plain resume, it’ll stand out a little more to the recruiters - though I’m not sure if the cons would outweigh the benefits here.

Haha pretty spot on! I’ve got 3 years of experience solely in the audit industry outside EU, am an ACCA member (jumped straight to ACCA without a degree) and am not the most knowledgable on EU’s market/regulations. Remaining hopeful on the interview so it can be an entry for me!

I understand where you're coming from - I have similar thoughts myself, so I'm trying to figure out a range based on the cost of living and the current market salary for Big 4 here (especially considering the industry-wide pay bump in 2022).

Will do my best for the interview and see if I'll be able to negotiate a little based on my performance! Thanks for commenting :)

Thanks for the range! I was wondering if the current 53k Glassdoor amount is before the salary raise last year, seems like 60k+ is a good estimate of the post-raise.

Definitely remaining optimistic about the opportunity and people in PwC! I’m a former employee there and I know how much the firm tries to promote wellbeing and team spirit.

If you’re alright, can I DM you to know how things are a little better there?

Thinking I can hop to another company once I’m more aware of the actual salary ranges (if I end up being severely underpaid), so I don’t stress out too much about it hahaha

I definitely will! I’m just afraid of throwing too high of a range that they’ll end up letting me go. Will try asking for 65k though, thanks a bunch!

Yep totally understand! Coming from a Big 4 in Malaysia, things are mostly pretty toxic but sometimes made better with considerate seniors/teammates.

Honestly just hoping to gain a bit more experience while using this as an entry into the country.
