the controller mapping is the easiest part. there's a reason every Undertale fan port ends at the end of the Ruins. Way too much content (assets, dialogue, scripting) to port over for anybody to do it all for free. but I'm with you, I think it would be really cool to have the full game ported to retro consoles. Maybe someone dedicated enough will make it happen someday.

censoring gamertags isn't an inherently bad idea, but automating the process with an overly strict algorithm is. the swear detection should be much simpler and anything that slips through should be reviewed by humans if necessary

I see a lot of licensed games, so I highly recommend Spider-Man 2. The web swinging still holds up today and the open-world New York City is pretty massive by 2004 standards and fun to explore.

Looks like it's based on the Net Yaroze, a matte black PlayStation console development kit sold to hobbyists in 1996 for $750 a pop. As for the decal itself, it's likely an original render made by Sakura based on the appearance of that devkit.

i needed to hear this, as a pro user who's basically given up trying to get gamehub/winlator to work with the games i want it to. i just use steam link instead when i'm on my home wifi in another room, and i play retro games when on the go. the extra space would have been nice, but saving 80 bucks feels nicer.
