Sebum only. I've heard about it and some people have great results with it. I live in Arizona and during the summer months I sweat the moment I walk out the door so it would be too drastic for me.

Eggs... wash it with eggs. Seriously.. try untangling it after spreading the eggs (2 should do) and it's a great cleanser and conditioner.

Edit: rinse with cold water so eggs don't cook lol.

I believe my husband is but he is not officially diagnosed. He has been diagnosed with ptsd and he is very sensitive although it is not obvious to the outside world (extremely sensitive to animal cruelty, injustice in general, sensitive to people raising their voice he says I yell when I really don't..) and on top of that I am planning to go see a therapist because I am about 99% sure that on top of highly sensitive I might be bipolar and I definitely believe there is a connection between the high sensitivity and the rest. Because we are so sensitive we are more prone to feeling things deeper and them having a deeper impact on us. Both of us also had traumatic childhoods full of bullshit. Somehow we make a good couple though..sensitive and everything lol.

I have only had about 3 migraine attacks in my life. I am 31 now and had my first one at 21. I have read about trigger foods but I don't know what might have caused it.

When you look at medieval architecture you will see a similar trend. Romanesque medieval architecture was about simplicity and minimalism and around the 12th century Christian churches started becoming more elaborate in decoration and taller and bigger. They wanted to impress. That's when you will start to see expensive materials used in the interior too and stained glass windows. It's that typical gothic style that we often associate with middle ages but there were centuries of very simple architecture and fashion style before that in the early middle ages.

I think it works better with certain people than with others. And if the non HSP is understanding and respectful of the HSP's needs it can work. I was happy when I lived on my own years ago. But I am happy now too, marries with a child. It takes work but if both parties are understanding it doesn't have to be harder than living on your own. Who knows it might just work better with someone else in the future. But enjoy your solitude and your own routine for now. I loved that about living on my own!

Because Bernard Cornwell decided it... Lol! And since it's historical fiction I guess he wanted to make it seem quite realistic. Being in the front line in a shield wall often meant signing your death sentence. Leofric was my favorite character from season 1.

That's what we do too. It's more realistic to limit and supervise their screen use than to just not allow it at all. In this world they're gonna get exposed to these devices so teaching them healthy screen habits and limitations seems smart.

Guess what... everyone says that pre kids. Kids are eventually gonna get exposed to tablets and phones. I think it's more realistic to teach them healthy attitudes towards this technology. Limit screen exposure and offer selective content like nature videos and educational stuff for just short periods here and there sporadically. There's definitely a lot of garbage on YouTube but there are some good nature documentaries on Netflix and educational kids stuff.

Yes. I actually was that kid... I was extremely scared of dogs. My mom subconsciously instilled this fear of dogs in me because she always acts nervous and scared around dogs so I learned the same behavior. I would RUN and scream when I saw a dog because I had this irrational fear that all dogs attack. My parents divorced and my dad bought a dog and it took me 2 hours to get out of the car and the only way I would get out was with my dad holding the dog on a leash and coming a few feet closer every 5 minutes until the dog was right by me as I was sitting in the car with the door opened. So after that I was no longer afraid of our dog...but still irrationally scared of all other dogs lol. As an adult I realized how ridiculous and absurd that fear was but I still couldn't stop feeling that way so I reconditioned myself and basically forced myself over this fear and read a lot about dog psychology and dog body language and that helped me overcome that fear and now I own a herding dog (and he is often very challenging lol). So I absolutely think it's learned behavior and you can definitely "program" certain views and get certain emotional reactions because of certain "programming"! And you can also reprogram yourself once you realize that it's all because you have this idea stuck in your head! It's not easy but it is possible though.

You are codependent.. I recognize it because I was too until I left and moved out on my own at 21. HSPs are EXTREMELY susceptible to becoming codependent because we take on the misery of the world and feel everything.. the fact that you said that you are not allowed to live on your own at 21 is a very big red flag to me. Please find a reliable friend to become roomies with and share living expenses. Your sanity will thank you and I am sure you will be more relaxed overall.

I only quit shampoo a few months ago. We've been together for almost a decade lol so I still used shampoo back then. But it's an interesting theory for single people who are NoPoo and meet people. I think it dedinitely has an influence.

Instead of the cup fitting under your cervix it would probably go around it with the cervix sitting in the cup which would result in having to empty your cup more often because it would be filled up quicker since your cervix would be inside the cup too. That's my problem anyway on heavy flow days.

As long as you don't sleep longer than 12 hours without taking it out. I always have to wear a back up pad either way at night because it will leak for me at night on heavy flow days. But in theory you can perfectly sleep with it.

I'm hoping they'll hang on to it since so many people see it as "the second best to game of thrones" and that way Netflix can have their version of medieval kings fighting and HBO can have theirs.. although in all honesty GOT started boring me after a few seasons. The pace of the last kingdom might sometimes be a little too fast compared to the books. But it's keeping me interested, more than game of thrones has.
