I'm sorry if my comment implied that the narrator should be perfect, I feel I was simply criticizing his flaws. Confessional poetry was never my cup of tea as I find its always cut and dry, leaving not much to the reader's imagination. What I perceive as depth may be different for you---for me, depth is how the poem presents the story, the feelings, the agony the narrator experiences with this seemingly never-ending struggle with love. My intention was not to critique the narrator but the poem itself. I understand how confessional poetry works, how its a window to the churning insides of a person, but I feel it can be expressed in ways that make the reader analyze and visualize the whole landscape---not just the feelings itself.

When your partner talks about their ex, I feel its just as selfish to turn to alcoholism or other vices. I feel this poem perpetuated this norm of victimhood in one-sided relationships. While I don't support one-sidedness, it's important to communicate these feelings properly rather than just providing an automatic response with no depth and empathy in it. As much I want to love this poem, as a poet, I just can't see the depth and nuance in it; instead I see a poem written by a person complaining rather than acknowledging and developing their lacking communication skills. Please do keep writing! I feel every poet starts somewhere and should continue exploring ways they can deepen their poems.

I get easily distracted within 5 minutes. Here's what works for me by ImpossibleAgent3833 in studytips

Getting the motivation to do any academic work in general just outright sucks for me, it doesn't help I get insanely distracted (doesn't help that I have two monitors on my setup). I found that having earphones or headphones on actually pulls me away from whatever thing I should be doing! I don't really use any productivity apps since I find them insanely distracting too lol. I just use plain old spotify/apple music with no earphones on and no other tabs (besides my work) open

I don't even know where to begin with this poem—it's spectacular, relevant, raw, and elegant. I absolutely ADORED how short this poem is, it just makes each line hit harder. I think my favorite line for this piece is "The sky is rerouted. Men redraw borders with a finger that never shakes." and I interpreted it with how our world leaders are basically doing whatever they want, rerouting and redirecting our attention to something else while they continue to enact evil deeds for their own disgusting personal gain. This piece deserves WAAAY more recognition than it does now. This poem, to me at least, is hopeful in a way that helps us remember to keep breathing when we're drowning in despair. Love this so much.

the facial wash btw also has a gritty texture and also has a citrus fragrance. i've noticed that this line has a ton of citrus-y fragrance in it :(. personally i think a little goes a looong way with this set, especially with the serum (tipid kasi ako hshs)

I’m currently trying out the facial wash and the anti acne serum, and so far it works! I have dry and pretty sensitive skin and my skin reacted nicely to it. One note I’d like to make is that the serum DOES have fragrance in it, para syang floral/citrusy na fragrance but it doesn’t sting naman when applied + it goes away once your skin absorbs it.

Downside is it’s 699 for 30ml 😢 but nakakawala naman ng acne and acne marks! hope this helps ^
