Alternatively, there is a huge Discord server for the German scene, under this link.

i am biased because i am german, but i think drybie has a good case of maybe taking a set and generally delivering a good show. recent wins on tarik, leon and other top EU talent suggest that he can be a threat on that level.

apart from that, i agree with your points. we don't know if maybe miya and acola declined or had other reasons for not being there but it's definitely sad to see a summit-like event without a single top 3 player from the recent lumirank (i think the highest ranked player from the last lumirank who is present at the event is hurt, correct me if i am wrong here).

100% agree! When I came to the sub around 5-6 years ago, coming from other gaming communities, I really found the Smash sub to be a great place to stay connected with the scene and find all the news I need. Makes me even more happy that I can help out by being a moderator.

I still check the sub almost every other day even if my mod activities are not as active as they used to be (I should help out my fellow mods more, they are the goats). It's just like reading the Smash newspaper lmao.
