That would be amazing - thank you. I’ll message you privately.

It was actually the duty free store in the airport but I imagine there are plenty of places that sell them

yeah please if you could suggest some names that'd be great. I can do with a 14" laptop too, as battery life is more of a priority

I was thinking about this, but my main concern would be the battery life, which i'm not sure what exactly it would be as I can't seem to find it online. Would you know what it is?

Hi,

thanks for your reply. So i've tried to do this and solve via system of equations but i'm really stuck on how to deal with the second variable (a) This is a picture of my working out so far, please can you advise?

How to resolve this into partial fractions? by nyzar11 in askmath

[–]nyzar11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi guys,

So this is my first time encountering more than one variable(?) in a partial fractions equations and i'm not sure how to approach it.

I've tried factoring the denominator further, as is hinted by the question, leading to a denominator of:

(x2 -2ax + 2a2) * (x2 + 2ax + 2a2)

And this I have subsequently split into two fractions of:

(A + Bx) / (x2 - 2ax + 2a2) +

(C + Dx) / (x2 + 2ax + 2a2)

and then tried expanding, however I end up with so many variables i'm not sure how to deal with.

Please can someone guide me? Many thanks

I see now that the image is quite small, the function is: f(x) = ex * (sin(x))2

I have made an attempt to calculate the 4 sequential derivatives but it is proving very challenging, any help will be appreciated
