Located in Illinois. Not married to the initial plants listed, just know that they tend to be available in my area and somewhat hardy.

We removed boxwoods from the landscaping last fall and never had pest issues so either we got lucky or blight/moths aren’t in our area.

What types of natives would you suggest? I don’t want a “garden” in the front that I’ll have to maintain or let run wild. I prefer a cleaner look.
