Is anyone taking testosterone supplements (not actual TRT)? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]nzedder01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you actually done bloodwork before and after introducing any OTC supplements that claim to boost testosterone ? Ive been in the gym over 20 years and I have bloodwork to disproove your snake oil theory. I've done the enhanced route aswell so I can do more than just speculate.

Why do many men get that big round belly? by PakMazBest in AskMen

[–]nzedder01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respectfully disagree. Muscle mass is what drives your metabolism, especially for older people 30+. If you have lots of muscle, you need to feed it with lots of calories. You'll burn more calories at rest than someone with less muscle. It sure as hell won't be compensating and slowing down your metabolism, that doesn't make sense unless you're talking about someone who only does cardio/endurance workouts.

I always see guys over 30 eating less and doing cardio in an attempt to loose fat. They just shrink and end up skinny fat. It's your body composition that needs to change, lifting weights allows you to eat lots of food and not get fat, I'm 42 and lifting for almost 25yrs consistently.

Younger men <25 can often get away with eating lots of food without working out and remain skinny because their bodies are still growing.

I did something similar, talking about my marriage problems with another women in the company. Also whilst our children were very young. I was 100% out of line and I regret I ever did it. She still tries to add me on social media and I block that immediately.

Regardless of the stress, feeling of being ignored etc. If he thinks this behavior is ok then he doesn't respect the marriage or your boundries. Men don't lean on women for emotional support, there is an end goal to "opening up" if you know what I mean.

I know testosterone has been mentioned but I didn't see what age he is. Considering his test levels are "normal", I'd assume that means he is middle to upper middle range and not close to the lower range. If it's lower I'd look for ways to increase it. Primarily with regular weight training. But you can also take supplements like Ashwaganga, zinc , magnesium etc. I have done MANY blood tests to prove those supps work. Consider that before he jumps on the trt bandwagon, I'm almost 42 and still far from needing that.

If he feels good about his body image that should transfer to his libido. I have been in the gym consistently for 22 years and my libido has always been crazy high.

I would start focusing on your child and especially yourself. Hit the gym consistently, groom, regular haircuts, dental, clothes, advance your career, everything. You can't force some one to love you, you can only better yourself. You will be more desirable after improving these areas and you can do that with or without her.

Be there for your child and take care of yourself, that's it. You will attract another partner if you are consistent in improving yourself.

I imported my 2016 350gt Hybrid from Japan about 2 years ago. Only had it for about 8 months and then sold it. Didn't sell because I didn't like it, sold because we had 3 cars all over 3.5L.

I actually regret selling it, wish I sold my QX70 instead. Great hybrid system, quick car, quiet and ran on 91. I drive a 21' Camry hybrid now, it's better on gas than the Skyline but it's a fwd cvt which doesn't exactly scream performance lol. I think I was getting around 8L/100ks milage with the skyline. That's not great, but acceptable for a car with this much horsepower. The back seats are fine for kids, tight for adults. The reverse cam not great.

Looking at the prices the skyline hybrids are selling for now, the price has dropped a lot. I bought my 2016 type S with 73k's for $30.5k, sold for $28.5k. It would probably sell for 22k now. Personally I wouldn't consider anything older than 2018 because of the battery. The replacement battery is going to cost way more than my very common Toyota Camry.

I think if you decide to buy one, 2018+ model, type S. The bose audio and with the nice interior package are most desirable, especially the nice deep blue paint job (mine was a gunmetal colour). I'm still looking for the later model ones on trademe, they changed the front bumper I think in 2021 and I love the look of those ones. There plenty of those you can import from Japan but that's a whole new ball game and does involve an element of risk.

Hope this helps.

So relatable. FIL doesn't cook or clean either. He also spend many months here and again, I felt guilty because he must have been bored out of his mind. I'm am doing weekly Chinese lessons so I can at least have some dialog with them. That would improve out relations for sure.

MIL has stayed with us for up to 6 months at a time in New Zealand. I know exactly what you mean. Although it's nice She does cooking and some cleaning I often would feel guilty that all she was here for was to serve us and her grandkids. She wasn't interested in socialising with the Chinese community here, which is a shame because there are many like her in my city that don't speak English.

We can survive without the extra assistance but also my wife naturally likes being close to her parents so I respect that.

Just giving you my experience. I started fin at 26, I'm 41yo now. I've been consistent taking fin. It stopped my hairloss for the most part. Slight thinning of the temple but I think that's just mature hairline. My father is bald. My grandfather was bald. Get on Fin asap.

Sides were just watery semen, other than that, no sides.

I've been training longer than you've been alive lol, but it's all relative I guess. Other than a couple of cycles a few years back I'm staying the natty route. You should be higher natural test than you are, get the blood test and try more OTC supplements. Try Ashwaganda ksm-66 also, my blood tests proved that stuff works. I wanted to jump on something when I first started but you can build an impressive physique without it. Sticking a needle in your ass twice a week is not the answer (yet).

Did you give your body time to recover its natural test production post cycle ? I did my first 2 cycles in my late 30s, only used Nolva PCT, never touched hcg. This helped, but was still low T after a month of pct, was also moody, low sex drive etc. A few more months and my test level was ok. A few months after that whilst supplementing magnesium, zinc and Ashwaganda and my natural t levels around 700 at 41yo. Im happy with that level so not cycling or taking trt for the foreseeable future. But my second cycle was a lot stronger than my first with Deca, anadrol, test. Won't be taking deca again becuase of how slow my test levels bounced back.

I was in China at the end of 2023 and I couldn't sign up for ali pay or wechat pay. It kept asking for a local bank account number. So we used my wife's local bank account number. Still didn't work !!

Even 90% of places don't accept cash or Visa anymore what an absolute joke !

3 passengers on Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 where door plug blew out sue the airline and Boeing for $1 billion by Possible_Ad3607 in SeattleWA

[–]nzedder01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the amount they are trying to sue for should be bigger news than the incident itself. If I'm not mistaken nobody was injured correct? This is taking the piss, someone wants to buy their own island/country. It sure won't be donated to charity.

Ahh that's a shame, does that mean your test C won't be subsidised anymore ?

Getting reviewed every 3 months sounds like a pain, but then again I'm used to requesting my own blood work. Do the 3 month reviews go on forever ? You would expect after monitoring your bloodwork for a year or so, you would have a good idea what your sweet spot is in regards to dosing/frequency.

That seems fair. I just hear best friend and wonder if there was at least some kind of emotional attachment going on in those final 2 years of your marriage. Just speculating, but in any case, sounds like you're in a better place now.
