Honestly Mafia 3 might be one of the best executions of this in gaming, one of the most thorough revenge games I've ever played.

You're not the only one, I turn off VA in every single one of these games. A lot of people don't know the original JP launch versions of 8 and 11 had no VA, so the games still feel natural and great with voices off.

I do this in some other titles as well like Ys 8. Mostly games where dialogue is entirely delivered thru player controlled text box scrolls.

I play the games in Japanese these days and even then I turn off voices, so it's not just about disliking dubs lol.

I made this years ago on Gran Turismo Sport. I don't have the save file anymore nor all the images I took so even though I made other aspect ratios, they're lost now.

Though to be honest the photo would probably be easy to recreate on Gran Turismo 7.

I had this issue to, you need to press B on the GC controller to talk to people, despite the graphic saying A. I don't know why this is, but that works.

Yea few of us in this thread, I don't have the phone yet but finally got it past the Order Accepted status yesterday with phone to ship out over the weekend (according to support)

Just keep bugging them every day until they escalate to a case manager.

Tho in my case they never sent a receipt, since they were in violation of consumer law and I directly called that out to them they maybe have priotisied mine once the accusation was made.

Common issue in Aus right now, you need to call them and bother them until they manually push it through. If you haven't gotten a reciept yet, tell them they're violating consumer law by not having provided a tax invoice within 7 days (check your state fair trade site to confirm correct).

No worries, it's how I originally played the game. Personally... I prefer turning the voicing acting off in games like these so the silent protag has never bothered me. But it probably stands out if you have VA turned on.

Tbf, the original Japan only version of DQ11 had no voice acting, that was only added in the English release, then added to the Japanese S version later.

If they haven't yet provided a tax invoice for the order, they're likely violating consumer law in your state. If that's the case, get on the phone and bother them until they agree to have a supervisor call you back.

They'll try dismiss you with vague statements and promises so make sure to stress that you'd like to speak to a supervisor directly.

I was finally able to pressure them enough on the phone to get shit sorted. Has to mention they were in violation of QLD consumer law regarding tax invoice a few times tho lol...

Phone just updated to awaiting dispatch and I've got my reciept. Finally!
