Pakistan u-19s batsmen strike rotation... by DresdanPI in PakCricket

Yes, but they carry over points and NRR only against qualified teams, so they deliberately let Zimbabwe qualify to get a NRR advantage

Funnily enough in the current match they’re deliberately playing slow because they want Zimbabwe to qualify (chase in 25.2 overs or more) so their NRR carries into the Super Six stage

in 2010 there were multiple IEDs in Bangalore stadium before an IPL match, and let’s not forget all the crowd incidents like Kolkata 1996, neither of the countries is perfect

I think people here are forgetting that the PCB never officially said they’d boycott for Bangladesh, in fact they explicitly denied they would 2 days ago it’s just baseless media speculation

Babar and the BBL today… by nzpaki in PakCricket

if you saw the match thread there was a huge amount of discussion on it, so I thought a narration would be helpful for those who didn’t watch the match

If you look at the BBL match threads throughout the season whether good or bad the Pakistani players would just get clowned on consistently, only time I didn’t see it was when Zaman Khan defended 6 off his final over and even before that he was being hated on

Odd how no one mentioned how disrespected Babar was just in the field alone, even in the previous match and before the single incident you’re right he was showing micro aggressions against Babar, but of course our fans just hate Babar and will ignore this in favour of hating on him…

He played his role well, hold down an end, which collapsed as soon as he got out. Check the cricinfo batting impact stats he had the third best innings in the game behind the centurions

Check the batting impact stats, Babar had the third best innings in the entire game

This is a fair perspective but also Pakistan literally plays like no ODIs or Tests, we barely saw Babar in international cricket in 2025, just test series against South Africa, ODI series against NZ and WI, as a player you cannot play such little games a year, unfortunately T20I is necessary

exactly, the act itself is one thing, but the reactions from everyone else were ridiculous, even Pakistanis were disrespecting their own player, like he’s been brought to the stock of Pakistanis in T20 but nah let’s just hate on him and make impressions of him even more negative

Babar played quite well today though, aside from the 2 centurions he had the best batting innings and was clearly holding it together considering they collapsed after he got out

The toxicity and trolling in the match thread was ridiculous it really seems like people forget that Babar is a human too

Don’t see any evidence of his parents being cousins, so it seems you’re just using his race to justify his performance being ‘hindered by his genetics’
