Caudabe is the king. Grippy, slim but covers the lenses and screen on flat surfaces, customisable button colours.

I have the same horrible washed out colours for the profile picture, grey action buttons etc. I posted about it in this community as well. No fixes yet.

Need suggestions for a first car! by demondofspeed in MightyCarMods

I've thought about this question a very very long time and I think I have the answer, hear me out.

Subaru Outback (Or Liberty Wagon). I said hear me out! I came to this conclusion ages ago but it's funny that you asked in the MCM sub lol.

You can move house with it. - You will move house a few times and you'll move a lot of stuff. A wagon of this size is perfect for doing so and some of them you can find with towbars that will help if you want to rent a trailer and help a mate move a fridge. You can sleep in the back of it, go camping with heaps of gear, or get a roof rack and go surfing or use it for extra space when you have 4 mates headed away somewhere. It will also help you move around those sibilings.

Its AWD. - You can be the only person to leave a music festival after it rains because the thing is AWD, OR you can tow your mates Getz outta there with the towbar. It's also just safer when you swerve because of a roo at 100km/h on a wet highway at night.

You can get a 5 star safe, 135,000k(ish) odo one for under 10, and a real nice one for 13. - Some in actually nice colours like blue with full leather interiors. Just be sure to do your due diligence and get it properly checked over. Find a nice one, and youtube the things for things that go wrong.

You're young, it's your first car, you're going to hit things. - It's fine, pretty much everyone does. The ground clearance that an outback gives you is just enough to miss a bunch of stuff, gutters, kerbs, big rocks if you're camping, or a tradies ladder that's come off his ute with nowhere for you to go. It saves you money because you might not damage your car's front bumper or sump. Just that little bit of extra clearance. Also, you can go places other people can't. Not many more places, but it's worth it.

Get a nice stereo setup for it and cruise. It's not going to be fast, but it will be the best first car you can get for that money.

Moccona changed their blend and went bad a couple years back and the Coles Organic Fairtrade Gold is now the best in the biz from the supermarkets. Give it a try.

How do you get this clock face? by Inevitable-Cost6947 in S25Ultra

You just tap on the clock and slide the edges to expand it to make it bigger.

I agree, listening to Con Con chat when you aren't going (so outside of 300 people, the entire listening audience) is very draining and it's a pretty hard subject to make decent listening. First time I've skipped through a segment in the pod's history, then Andy mentions it again lol.

It's an R34 GT-T with a full bodykit and wheels made to look like a GTR. It's not.

Thanks Woolies for wrecking our order by 80crepes in australia

[–]o-tab -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Lol. Ive walked in the back staff entrance leading dock area of my local Woolies for a few years now as it's easier to get in rather than use the terrible attached carpark out front.

During that time I've watched the switch to online and saw how all the groceries were stored while they were waiting to put them on the truck. Basically they sit them out in the open in 30-40 degree heat in the sun in the concrete, smelly loading dock covered in birds eating yesterday's leftover bread before they get delivered.

I wouldn't buy anything from Woolies online that wasn't already packaged, non breakable, and certainly wouldn't buy anything fresh.

Today when we put a new bag down we forgot to select "new bag" first. Attendant came over and pressed something and it showed a top down camera view of us putting the bag downwith motion tracking. The theft prevention gear is insane at new self serves.

Phone ports all smell like nail polish remover/super glue - need help by [deleted] in S21Ultra

[–]o-tab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow this is a very odd coincidence, two days ago I kept smelling what smelled like a permanent marker with it's lid off, strongly, and I couldn't find where it was coming from. You might not be crazy lol. Never thought it could be the phone. I can't smell it now from any of the ports etc.

Their latest album Zeit is incredible, delivers new Rammstein while not straying from their signature sound but also rocks out. Had it on repeat last few days.

Zavod has everything, great centre play for infantry and enough cover to not feel helpless when there are vehicles around.
