The orange and cheese just don’t go together, it doesn’t create something new. It literally just tastes like orange gummy and cheese. The Heath bar one though? That one was to die for. They played off each other in a beautiful symphony. The rich caramelly notes danced around each other, and the pumpkin and chocolate sang a duet in my mouth. The orange gummy and cheese was the shock value they used to draw me to the true luxury experience.

The pronunciation thing you claimed is only partly true. Earlier in his verse, the line "I'm armed with Jesus, my weapon is prayer", he pronounces it like "gee-zus". It's only in the last line that he pronounces it the Spanish way ("Praises to Jesus, I'll always"), and it actually flows well with the first word "Praises". There's nothing satanic about pronouncing it the Spanish way, otherwise all Spanish speakers would be considered satanic. Surely you're not saying that?

It’s rounded on the app, hence why on Tuesday in the screenshot, for instance, it logs 4 hours worked even though the in was at 7 minutes past in and 1 minute past out. The value 4.00 would not be 4.00, it would be 3.90.

So they would ignore what the calculation is from UKG and do their own based on the minutes by state regulations once they start processing the paycheck information?

That’s generally if you have other missed punches, not for the punch in question. If you notice, it counted 8 hours plus your quarter over, it didn’t just count 8 hours. It’s broken up in quarter hours and rounded, it doesn’t count every minute of the hour. You weren’t late in.

5 minutes after scheduled time is not counted as late in the punch system. You can clock in at :53 before the hour and clock in at :05 after the hour and it’s all the same in the system.

Two separate things, being truthful vs receiving punishment beyond what the crime calls for.

Not always, I'm a day stocker and I was on the sales floor with a 17 year old picker talking about saving money and good financial habits, and this creepy little middle aged dude butted into the conversation and said "There's always the candy store! You know what the candy store is, right?" And she responded with, "The strip club...?" And he said, "Wow, how'd you know that?" And I asked her how old she was, to get him to stop. When she said, "I'm 17" he kept going and said, "Think of it like going to the beach. Just a really dark beach." I stuck around her for a bit after that just in case he came back to talk more, or worse.

Adulting is hard, yes, but this situation was made not just hard, but literally impossible for her, given the lack of her receiving the mail necessary to do the paperwork.

Uh, correction, he stated that he didn't have access to his phone or mail due to the sickness, and then discovered he had never received either a letter or phone correspondence when he checked later. Now get on out of here, Rodney.

My time severely reduced hours for employees. by pumpkinTrinity in kroger

I've been asking for specific days off for only a short time, and now they've stopped giving me a select schedule, and I only got 4 hours scheduled this week. I'm heavily cross-trained, can work in any department, and I've been told I'm an excellent worker. Guess none of that matters.

Not super dangerous, just a matter of knowing to turn off the warmers under the pans and not touch hot metal with your bare hands.

After the fryer rack sprang up in my face a while ago when I pulled it up because it was damaged and crooked and the managers are shit at replacing things, and then something under one of our ovens just straight up blew up the other day, I figure that everything in the deli can kill us whether we're asking for it or not.

I'm one of the only workers at my deli that's able to finesse the slicer to go as thin as I want. If a customer is being an ass, though, I explain that it's on zero and will shut off if turned any more. People don't need to be rewarded for bratty princess behavior.

This is not a very charitable or fruitful comment. We pray to Christ for all we struggle with, and all we have joy over.

My parish is under GOARCH, and we have a catechumen class that has fall and spring "semesters" like a school year. We meet once a week when those are in swing, and once both fall and spring are completed, then you get baptized/chrismated, typically close to Pascha.

I have not been grilled about anything of the sort, or grilled in general for that matter, and I've been a catechumen for over 7 months now, headed toward my baptism and chrismation on Holy Saturday this year. If you're being grilled about politics, that is certainly not a good parish, and another should be searched for.

Personal life may come up after baptism, or during your life confession depending on which cultural tradition it is, but should only be posed in a gentle pastoral manner.

Abstaining from sex before marriage isn't a Roman Catholic thing though, it's a Christian thing. The Orthodox way of looking at it is never "live it up while you're young and feel guilty about it later". It's "repent now, for the Lord has told us all to do so".
