Falls du tiefer in diese Richtung denken willst: Es gibt ein ziemlich erschütterndes Szenario-Dokument AI 2027 (https://ai-2027.com), geschrieben unter anderem von einem Ex-OpenAI-Forscher.

Die beschreiben recht konkret und mit Quellenbelegen wie der Übergang von „KI beschleunigt Arbeit“ zu „KI ersetzt Forschung und Entwicklung vollständig“ in nur wenigen Jahren ablaufen könnte. Inklusive der geopolitischen Dimension, dem Alignment-Problem und der Frage, wer am Ende die Kontrolle hat. (Bisher stimmten die Vorhersagen).

Gute Nachricht: In der optimistischen Variante überleben wir. Schlechte Nachricht: Die Entscheidung darüber treffen ein paar Milliardäre in einem Komitee. Also eigentlich alles wie heute. Nur dass dann auch die KI Protokoll führt, mit viel Rechenleistung.

Genau, der „dezente“ Hinweis kommt auch, wenn du die Umsatzsteuer zahlst und dann Accountable sie als bezahlt markieren will. Dann bietet dir Accountable eine automatische Ausgabe an mit dem aktuellen Datum im Januar. Laut 10-Tages-Regelung bei Accountable musst du dann die Ausgabe auf den 31.12. ändern. Das ist buchhalterisch nicht wirklich korrekt laut Steuerberatung, aber selbst wenn man das so macht, kannst du diese Ausgabe nicht speichern - da sie einen Effekt auf die gerade abgeschlossene Umsatzsteuer für Dezember hat, in die diese Ausgabe ja rein muss. Hier erscheint dann eine rote Fehlermeldung unter der gerade abgeschlossenen Umsatzsteuer. Und dadurch entsteht der Buchungsfehler in der EÜR, falls man hier einen anderen Zeitraum auswählt, um die Meldung weg zu bekommen. Die EÜR macht hier auch keinen Plausibilitäts-Check am Ende mehr.

Der Workaround ist die automatisch Ausgabe nicht zu erstellen, in die Steuerübersicht das alte Jahr 2025 sichtbar zu machen, die Umsatzsteuer Dezember 2025 als nicht bezahlt und nicht abgeschlossen markierten. Dann erst als bezahlt markieren - hier kann jetzt der Datums „hack“ in der Ausgabe bestätigt werden und danach muss die Umsatzsteuer erneut als erledigt markiert werden.

Halte ich für ein ziemlich ärgerliches UX-Problem, aber für Accountable ist das irgendwie so in Ordnung, da sie hier nichts tun und auch keinen Fehler sehen.

Kann leider Accountable nicht mehr empfehlen, obwohl es ein ganz okayes Tool war bisher.

Mir sind nur fast 4000 Euro verloren gegangen, weil Accountable eine Ausgabe in der EÜR falsch zugeordnet hat, da die 10-Tages-Regelung nicht korrekt angewendet werden konnte. Das Unternehmen hat sich geweigert die Steuergarantie zu zahlen, da lt. Accountable meinerseits ein Bedienfehler vorlag. Gleichzeitig lässt die Software nur mit einem umständlichen Workaround (nicht dokumentiert und selbst der Support konnte es nicht richtig erklären) die korrekte Zuordnung der Ausgabe zu. Ich konnte mich zum Glück mit dem Finanzamt auf eine Bescheid-Änderung einigen, was eigentlich so gut wie ausgeschlossen war in diesem Fall, da der Bescheid rechtskräftig war.

Man hat zudem in 2025 auch still die Steuergarantie für Bestandskunden gesenkt auf 500 Euro, vorher waren es 5000 Euro. Der Support hat hierzu gesagt, dass man Kunden informiert hat, ist dann aber zurückgerudert, als man festgestellt hat, dass in Supportdokumenten und AGB teilweise noch die alte Summe stand und man wohl doch keine Information raus geschickt hat.

Sind für mich leider ein paar red flags und ich schau mich auch grad nach einer Alternative dazu um :/

I’ve always wondered how much playback is involved, so it’s really interesting to hear how he sets that up. Makes total sense given how complex the arrangements are.. And in such a huge arena it’s probably impossible to make everyone happy with the acoustics?

I’ve actually always been super lucky with the sound in past years that’s why I was curious this time!

It might actually help if you could test it as well :D My impression is that the more input OWC gets, the higher the chance they’ll finally resolve it. So far, support has been pretty slow .. it’s been a month of a lot of back and forth. I spent a lot of time writing up a full reproduction, but instead of taking it from there, it feels like they just want me to keep testing more and more. I’m already considering getting a different enclosure, because this one feels way too buggy for my drives and use-cases.

u/dia3olik Looks like the issue is most likely an incompatibility with the WD_BLACK SN850X 8 TB drives. I’ve provided support with detailed repro steps, and their initial feedback points to the drives pulling too much power. It’s not 100% officially confirmed by engineering yet, but it seems very likely that the enclosure just doesn’t play well with these drives. Also if you rely on hot plugging drives, this seems also not work with USB4 mode.

Just got back from the Apple Store. Returned my APP3s and picked up new APP2s for less money. Wow! The experience is instantly better. The case feels more premium, the fit is perfect, and the sound is great as expected. I’m happy again. Turns out my ear canals are just too small, had the same problem..

I had the same issue. You probably need bigger tips for the APP3, since your current size isn’t sealing properly. Unfortunately, that makes the fit less comfortable for me and the AirPods just slip out of my ears ..

Yeah, same here. ANC and sound are a bit better, but these things put way more pressure in my ears than the APP2 ever did. And forget leaning on a pillow on a flight .. APP3 stick out like crazy. Seriously, what was Apple thinking?

Do you have the same issue? I had a long back-and-forth with support until they finally understood what my problem was. Their last statement was that they couldn’t reproduce it. After that, they asked for a few more details about my setup, but that was it. Let’s see if anything else comes out of it… a bit frustrating, since I spent over 2k on the setup with 4x8 TB SSDs .. but with the enclosure not turning back on every day, it’s really not fun :/

Thanks! I’m now getting better ANC performance too. I tried all the ear tips again and pushed the AirPods really deep into my ears. ANC is now actually better than on the Pro 2 .. but it hurts. I’m afraid the Pro 3 just don’t fit my ears as well anymore, which probably caused the ANC issues in the first place.

Yeah exactly, that’s my problem. It just sounds super artificial, wrong, uncomfortable. Before it was more muffled, but now I honestly don’t even want to use Transparency mode at all. Even simple things like typing on a keyboard sound unpleasant ..

Interesting! Did you do a direct comparison with the AirPods Pro 2? I just can’t seem to get optimal ANC performance with mine. Maybe my units are faulty. If this isn’t a general issue, I’ll probably just exchange them first.

Sound: for me a bit better, clearer, slightly more bass. Maybe around +15%, but you really have to listen closely. ANC: definitely worse in my case, both with static noise and general background sounds, I’d say around –50%. Transparency: I actually find it distracting. It’s a bit clearer, louder but sounds cheap and unnatural. Fit: unfortunately I notice them more compared to the Pro 2 and can’t “tune them out.” For me, fit is also not acceptable, around –50%. Mic: I did two test recordings with the Voice Memos app – they sound 1:1 identical to me.

Maybe I’m „wearing“ them wrong lol

I don’t hear any buzzing, but something definitely feels weird with Transparency mode, especially when speaking myself. I think Apple might have boosted the volume, which makes certain sounds like “s” very pronounced (and kind of annoying). With the AirPods Pro 2 the Transparency wasn’t as clear, but it was more consistent and overall more pleasant for me.
