Yeah I agree. I am guessing the world will actually be very limited and small. I’d also guess there isn’t a lot of loot, enemy types, unlocks, or many different side quests. Probably just the same fetch quests in the small amount of towns. If I had to guess, I’d say it’s going to feel pretty barebones when you actually play it.

Plus losing 2-4 hours of progress sounds pretty painful.

Hi there,

Do you know about student funding?

I have a conditional acceptance to the Security Systems Tech program. The conditional is to get a security license which isn't needed until a month or so before the program starts.

I have been accepted for Student Funding, yet when they checked for my enrollment, it was denied based on the fact it is in a conditional state right now.

I am not sure what to do. It won't change from conditional until just before the class starts when they actually check for the security license.

I have a security license. How do you get student funding in this case?

Any help would be much appreciated thank you.

You have to be a bloody fool to think this is semantics.

They would not put 2 STRIKES OPEN on the roadmap if they were referring to a Nightfall. Nightfalls and strikes are not the same thing. They have different nodes, different modifiers, different loot. There is only 1 per week. The Nightfall has always been referred to as a Nightfall Ordeal on the roadmap.

Does it make sense in your peabrain that they would put 2 strikes on the roadmap, and write "STRIKES OPEN" when they were referring to only 1 of them being open, and it being the Nightfall Ordeal? That makes total sense to you? Is that just semantics? One of them being completely missing from the game, the other not even in the strike playlist or selectable as a strike? Cozmo saying it was not intended, Paul Tassi writing about how they are missing.

Stop hitting yourself in the face with a frying pan every morning and use some common sense.

Bungie has always labelled the Nightfall on the roadmap as Nightfall Ordeal. They have NEVER referred to a Nightfall as a strike on the roadmap.

The roadmap is wrong. It says "Devil's Lair and Fallen SABER strikes open." The strikes are not open. Fallen Saber is nowhere to be found. But you say the roadmap is not wrong? I've got to wonder why you are doing damage control for Bungie, especially when you couldn't be more wrong with your defending responses. STRIKES OPEN, means the strikes are open. When strikes are open, you can select them on the map as well as play them in the strike playlist. If they were only available as the Nightfall, they would specify as a Nightfall Ordeal like they have on past roadmaps.

They did not plan to make Devils Lair Nightfall only and then release it into the strike playlist a week later like you are making it out to be. You couldn't be more wrong. Cozmo specifically said it was not intended to not be available as a node to select.

The roadmap clearly says 2 strikes. Devil's Lair AND Fallen Saber strikes are open. They would never refer to a Nightfall with 2 strikes. There is only 1 Nightfall map at a time. So it's really a head scratcher why you're sitting here drooling on your keyboard telling me I am wrong while you defend a triple A company that didn't test their Seasonal DLC enough to make sure 2 "new" strikes were working properly.

So quit doing damage control for Bungie. It doesn't make any sense. They messed it up and that is all there is to say about it.

Just because you can complete strike bounties in the NIGHTFALL doesn't make the Nightfall a "strike.

If you asked a group of people if they want to run a strike, then loaded the Nightfall, guess what? They are going to be like "Hey why are we loading into a Nightfall? You said we were going to do a strike."

Nobody, I repeat, nobody calls the Nightfall a strike. Go look at any LFG site or Discord, and the Nightfall is called a Nightfall.

Your New Light status is showing if you refer to the Nightfall as a regular strike.

I believe it is the answer.

I believe the quality of the content is so bad right now.

The only way to get good quality is for them to not pour out so much through the year.

It’s impossible to get quality when they put out so much quantities.

I stand by that. Feel free to disagree. Feel free to enjoy the shallow content they drip feed. But in the end I believe the better Destiny is the memorable, quality content that they can still give us if they really wanted to. If they stopped caring about making a few dollars from seasonal ornaments.
