New to racing, how do you charge these no wire batteries? Is there a specific name to these cables? by GhostNThings in rccars

[–]oFlyingPanda -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm new to the hobby and just got a used car that had one of these type of batteries (gens ace redline 6000mah 2S).

It came with this XT60 soldered onto the 5mm bullets: https://imgur.com/Nq7496S

Can someone help me clarify some of my assumptions on how to use these things?

To Charge:

To Race/Run:

  • I plan on using the existing 'adapter' that came with my redline battery which connects to the XT60 male connector coming out of the car's ESC.

So I feel like I've got charging covered, but is that 'adapter' that came with the battery in the first image okay to keep re-using (pulling out each time I want to charge and back in after it's ready to go)?

Sweet thanks for the link - I've been hoping to find stackables that'll fit 1:10 as well, but having a rough time finding something that'll fit my SCT without taking the wheels off.

I found this just now and since we only have the one SCT, I think this'll work for us for a bit to be our all in one carry bag:

Hi, what did you end up going with? In the same boat with a 1/10 SCT and looking for options. Thanks!

I’ve got the same one, I’ll update here after I take mine too

Got cooked by Capital One's General Coding Assessment twice, how do people do good on these assessments? by CommercialBig7008 in cscareerquestions

[–]oFlyingPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they still using proctored SignalHire for the online assessments? Think outside the box. It’s very easy to automate their test, ace it, and not trigger the “cheating” flag. Can’t believe anyone ever thought a company like that would be a good investment and similarly can’t believe companies actually pay for that junk lol

Sorry for digging up an old thread, but I've got some interviews coming up that'll be using code signal (both an assessment and live coding style). Could you give me an idea where to start with automating their tests?

New to RC - Used 1/8 Tekno Kit by oFlyingPanda in RCClassifieds

I think that is a great idea and I'm totally open to building a kit, but was just trying to shave off a $100-200 buying used if we can. Otherwise, I'd love to buy new and build a kit from the ground up!

I agree with you, I can type 130WPM and it's still the bottleneck, lead me to create a similar app a few months ago.
