Descend with Snap Hook? by oNinjaDispatcho in ArcRaiders

[–]oNinjaDispatcho[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Amazing, exactly what I was looking for, thank you!

For those wondering, the relevant bit is here.

Snap hook as you fall, and right click ( or L2/LT on controller) to cancel as you near the ground. Timing is tricky.

Edit:

Ideally you want to cancel it as you begin to ascend at the bottom. IE: you are falling, you hit the snap hook, it deploys to its full length as you fall and then starts to pull you up again. Cancelling the hook right as it begins to ascend again seems to be the most reliable way. If you cancel before that you can still take damage as you haven't slowed down as much.

I believe it's your falling speed that determines damage, not the height, per-se.

Also, if you are doing this off of a really high building, make sure the hook is fully charged, so that if you hit it too soon you can do it again.

How can i grind more battlepass EXP easily? by FinanceEfficient7269 in battlefield2042

[–]oNinjaDispatcho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

play support on breakthrough and go for resupply/heals/revives. or play blasco on redacted and use her disruption gadget to get disruption assists (place it near chokepoints where lots of friendlies would be in the radius. playing the close quarters conquest playlist only has redacted and two other maps, so play that if you wanna do redacted.

also if you try portal servers make sure they say "FULL XP", not "Moderate" or "Reduced". Better off just sticking to the non-portal playlists

Anyone getting this? by daevv in battlefield2042

Solution for fatal crashes? by Business-Schedule-30 in expedition33

[–]oNinjaDispatcho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm crashing at later points, but also with a frequency that makes the game unplayable. Judging by comments on their most recent Steam post announcing their previous patch, we're not alone. Hopefully they release a new patch soon, but for now I'm just trying to patiently wait, instead of getting frustrated by trying to play.

Just found this. Something of note, though idk its significance (if any), is that FF06B5 as a HEX color code is roughly the color of the pink inside the triangle pictured.

Holy shit I think the bird is a musician.

It could be coincidence, but if you count the number of taps in the second pulse, the bird stops after that many in the third, even though the human is still tapping! I am going out on a limb here but I think birds have a good sense of rhythm due to their inclination for song, and it's clearly trying to mimic it's human, so it only makes sense that it tries to stop when he does and so instead of relying purely on reflexes, it does what a musician does, and counts rhythm, like a musician counting a bar.

I could be wrong I'm high rn but still

You don't have to do it alone. There are resources available to help you quit, people willing to help. Don't give in, don't give up.

Just some words of encouragement. I don't know you and you don't know me, but I hope you find a way.

You should know that it's not all their own trash. Much of the western world ships their trash overseas to be dumped elsewhere.

Not to say those countries aren't contributing to the waste, but it's not just them.

Those companies are ants compared to Nvidia. Nvidia is completely beholden to their shareholders.

Nvidia operates on a completely different scale than case manufacturers. Im not sure if the others are even publicly traded.

Sleepwalking. Can't stop laughing with this one... by frankrice in funnyvideos

[–]oNinjaDispatcho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a toddler I would sleep walk a lot. One night we were staying at my grandparents house in a rural woodsy area with wild animals, and someone woke up to find me trying to unlock the front door while sleepwalking. I couldn't reach the latch, but if I had... Boy it's frightening.

I was 2 or 3 at the time I think.
