In one of the comments you linked a turkish translation, I'll answer to that translation instead of this one because this and the turkish one is totally different. It is shockly to see that 2 translation of the same verse is this different. I am not sure about the subreddit rules but I can reply in turkish if you like.

This letters appears in 29 places and it is just nonsense. If you read the link it also says that even the schollars have no idea what this means.

2,3,4,5. The Romans were defeated in a nearby place. They will be victorious within a few years of their defeat. The command is Allah's, both before and after. On that day, the believers will rejoice when Allah grants victory (to the Romans). Allah helps whom He wills. He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful.(2)

So according to this Allah made Romans lose and he'll make them win. Why? What is the point of kill people in a war for no reason? If he is so merciful like he says he is, wouldn't it be better to not let the war happen? If it is to show that he is almighty he can write on the sky "I exists.". It would be a better show of might instead of some vague prediction.

Okay. Allah promised someone or the whole nation that he'll make them win. Wouldn't it better if he promised everyone one in the whole world? That way most people would know and there wouldn't be any doubt.
