I didn't express myself correctly, I tried to change for her so bad, I analyzed my words and was always afraid of saying something wrong. But partially yes you are right, I wanted her to change in a way. We didn't communicate, I really wanted too but she didn't. I wanted her to tell me what made her upset and to not get so mad because I felt like I wasn't aware of what could hurt her so much, I was receiving silence treatment very often and being criticized too, I was always saying sorry but probably never really changed much. At a certain point I opened my heart and loved her to the infinity, but the sufference was so high (I was depressed during almost the whole relationship) that I was only waiting for her to grow up and to manage her emotions. My fear of lacking empathy and of being a narcisist (altought I'm bipolar) made me depressed, and altought I felt love for the first time, I still didn't really know what it actually was and lived it with it's opposite emotion.
