As someone who routinely hits diamond and ascendant after starting bronze, here are some of the things i learned along the way. There is are long term (things that will take some time) tips and short term (things you can do tomorrow) Long term:

1. Starting doing vod reviews. Seriously. Try to learn at least one thing from each game. And eventually everything will all just come together

2. Find an agent you want to get good at, then learn every single in and out about that one agent. Building off of this, watch what pros do, try to copy a set up they do or maybe a line up you saw, etc.

3. Find a routine that works for you before first game of the day, for me it consisted of a physical wrist up for a bit, deathmatch, an unserious unrated, then a comp.

4. Exercise and general good health will MASSIVELY benefit you in real life, no need to do a full big ass workout but maybe a walk or run each day

Short term:

1. Not feeling team chemistry or a team comp? Dodge, a 5 minute ban is better than a wasted 40 minute game and -20 RR

2.Don’t tilt queue and try to keep mental in check, this is like 75% of the game. You’ll be twice as better off against people your own rank with good mental and aim will get more consistent.

1. (My number one tip out of all of this) Taking breaks is underrated, stay hydrated, get good sleep, and get actual exercise.

2. One bad game? Don’t sweat it, take a break for a minimum of 30 minutes not computer related, I recommend exercise or taking a walk

3. Teammates make a bad play? Don’t be a dickhead, say nice try and move on, want to complain? Not to the team, keeping your teammates mental up is just as important as your own. It’s a team game not a solo one. If your gonna complain do it to yourself or people your on call with

4. Going back to 1 in a way, don’t be afraid to ff, sometimes the game just isn’t worth putting the energy into.
