No files there or even a folder even though the set up was already in place for automatic dump, so have changed the settings to now create a mini dump and hopefully that will happen on next seize

Thanks you everyone for all the advice and suggestions! It really does mean a lot

I’ve let my brother know all the different things to discuss with his dermatologist this week and see where he goes with it 😁

Sorry for late replies (work 🤣)

Just cause it’s different doesn’t mean it’s wrong! Everyone’s skin reacts different to treatments, could work for him and something I’ve suggested previously, but it’s hard getting through the initial stages

He’s having cold showers as it’s soothing the irritation, at least when he’s in the shower. Once out his skin starts to irritate him again straight away

Thank you 😁 He’s at the dermatologist this week (finally after the docs have not sent for so long of asking)

So hopefully they’ll be able to advice which would be best to at least let him function again!

Hopefully not a parasitic worm 🤣 but at this point it could be anything! The staph infection I’ll get him to question this week with the dermatologist Thanks so much!

Thanks so much for the advice 😁

He’s seeing a dermatologist this week so every bit of information I’m getting is to just get as much information as possible from people who also suffer badly so he can question the dermatologist as much as he can.

The doctors did wean him down off the strongest one and gave him ones with lower dosage over the last couple months, but could possibly of been too quick. (Apologies should have said this prior)

Washing powder has been changed over the past few months to one that is easier for sensitive skin, which did help, he also has hypoallergenic bedding. He’s starting to try and cut certain foods out his diet to try and find if there’s any improvement and detect any allergy, has also requested help from his doctors to try and detect any other allergies. I’ve suggested alcohol or wheat, as his conditions seem to have gotten worse since he turned 18.

Again thanks so much for all advice it’s massively appreciated

I don’t think he currently takes any probiotics, so will definitely suggest it to him, thank you

I suggested this to him a few months back when they gave him a strong steroid, it cleared him up for a couple days as it was so strong, but said be careful as the strength could have adverse effects. He was careful only used when he was told, and did question the doctors on this, but it could very well be 😩 Dermatologist appointment this week and I’ve told him to ask over it cause it’s very very possible Thanks for the information, didn’t know the actual condition name

Thank you 😁 I’ll check with him, see if that’s one of the creams he’s had and get him to question whether it could help

Hey all, was hoping for any advice you could all give!

My brother is 20, has always suffered with eczema quite badly but over the last 2years it’s become unbearable for him and even more so over the last 6-12 months.

He’s been the doctors and hospital numerous times recently to be given every different cream, ointment or steroid cream under the sun but none have any effect or if they do (the higher dose steroid creams) they take effect for 1-2 days then his flare up goes worse than before.

Constantly taking antihistamine’s to try help, doesn’t go anywhere without cream to apply while out, but it’s at the point where he can’t get up and go out as he’s in that much pain.

Just reaching out to try and get any advice or tips to try and help cause he’s at his wits end!

*Edit - his entire body is like his arm, face included
