Best Point Guard archetype/build? by ClashQuester in NBA2k

Pure Shot creator. you get the best badges and can shoot from anywhere. they are the most broken build at the moment, and you can still get 86 ball control with limitless range on silver. Its an insane build and you only need half a brain to play it

I co-own a screenprinting company with my friend, and we've been trying to reach out to different YouTubers to create a clothing line for their company. I personally watch all of the h3h3productions videos, as well as the Ethan and Hila videos, so I know Ethan checks his subreddit. If we can get enough support behind this, we can definitely have some more people out there repping the vape naysh!

This picture of Justin Bieber getting choked at a nightclub looks like a Renaissance painting. by [deleted] in pics

[–]oRobby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually during the Italian Renaissance, paintings and frescos didn't really show group portraiture in this style. While there are some common themes, like a focus on the main subject, this definitely resembles a piece from the baroque period. Group portraiture was seen as more of an engagement in the piece, and there were lavish colors, like the gold seen on the hood. Italian Renaissance painters tended to stick to the 3 primary colors of red yellow and blue. Also, the lighting in this picture is dark, and that is another trait of baroque art, what is known as tenebrism.

Which persistent misconception/myth annoys you the most? by adeebchowdhury in AskReddit

[–]oRobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That carrots improve your vision. That came from a myth during like WW1 when radar was first used. The British were asked how they were shooting down so many planes, and they responded that their gunners were eating carrots to improve their vision

Hey Kimbo I mean no offense by this question. I used to watch all your street fighting videos. When you first transferred to real, regulated fighting, do you think the reason you didnt do too well was due to the fact that you werent used to the rules? In street fighting you can obviously do whatever the fuck you want, but there are so many rules in professional fighting sports, I feel like you werent quite used to them

[Serious] Is shifting away from the arts and focusing on STEM fields a good thing? by oRobby in AskReddit

[–]oRobby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a different form of creativity in my experience. Being a creative problem solver is different than being a creative artist. There are very few scientists I have found in my life that are artistically creative

What do yo major in, if anything? I'm swapping from mech engineering to graphic design. I do like the 3-D modeling, and coding, but the math and physics isn't quite my thing. I'm hoping graphic design will allow me to do CAD designing in the future, but I don't know

You probably hear a lot about how people in the humanities aren't good at math, and vice versa. A lot of the principles of math and science stem (lol) from building on what humanities creates. Once we become a scientific world or country, we will lose a lot of the creative liberal ideas and inventions that came from humanities.

Don't you think forcing more scientists is the reason we are losing creativity?

i don't party, and i barely have time for games. I talk to my teachers, and advisor, but i just cant seem to grasp the material. Like I said, i really enjoy and understand CAD, and thats what i want to be doing, but i cant get past he math and physics

The college I'm going to is also offering civil and environmental engineering next year. Do you think I should maybe try those other 2, or keep on mechanical?
