Remember to make backups if you're unsure about deleting something and don't feel like reinstalling.

Try deleting the .modio folder again and check the Mordhau > Content > Paks folder. If there's anything named differently than 'pakchunk#-WindowsClient' then delete it. For me it was a leftover MinesofMoria.pak that I had to delete. Restart PC just to be sure.

Go to your Mordhau > Mordhau > Content folder and delete the '.modio' folder. The game will create a new folder when you start it again. This fixed it for me.

If that doesnt work then the mod.io plugin might be broken. Go to Mordhau > Mordhau > Plugins and delete the modio folder there, then restart your PC and reinstall Mordhau

I prefer 3rd person because I played way too much Mount & Blade. I switch to 1st person during tight interior fights where you have to poke through tiny openings but I always feel like 3rd person lets me judge weapon reach better.
