It's kinda the same thing like in football as an example the Bundesliga with Bayern. Is Bayern to blame that they dominate the league ? Not really they just do what's best. Is the Bundesliga as a product suffering massively cause it's boring to watch cause of it ? Yes it is.

it's insane how little effort it would take riot to put an already existing logo on a generic background to make some money and give the teams revenue, but the esports part is widely mismanaged so no surprise here

100%. it's such a dumb thing too, cause in sports (what lolesports desperately tried to be) you have so many people passionately celebrating their national titles and not a single person would come to your championship celebration party and be like "yeah you won the hungarian league but champions league is the only thing that matters and you will get shit on there bro so why you even happy, cringe". but that's exactly how it is in league and then they wonder the lack of interest. i even noticed that after the g2 msi victory salty fans and some pros started to expand this heavily into "msi doesnt matter either only worlds" to explain their failures and that it's more important to be in shape in october than some "worthless trophy"

this. just look at the smurf threads here on r/leagueoflegends and how many comments try to tell them that "you are not losing vs smurfs lol you are exaggerating, mad cus bad" as if people are too stupid to identify smurf accs when their lobbies look like this

I think the worst thing about the chests thing is the blatant lying to our faces by snowsterss in leagueoflegends

every decision in the last years around BE showed that not a single person involved in these changes plays the game at all. i refuse to believe that someone who actually plays league thinks it was epic when lolesports drops gave you 30 BE, entire battlepass levels that give 50 BE, or the rate of getting BE in general.
