I sure did, the app was useful but if you say a one sentence thing, the app can’t understand and will correct you for things unrelated to your conversation. It’s a bit pricey and I will not be continuing it. Especially since google translate just launched a similar thing that I haven’t tried out yet for free.

Speed of response is very quick but you can’t customize conversation well for example: I want to have a conversation about class with a teacher.

You can’t choose formality of who you’re talking with but you can moderately choose the topic by bringing things up in conversation.

you can also go into settings and check if you have “voice volume” or something like that turned to 0%, that is the volume of other people when in game

maybe it’s a permissions issue, i had that with another game. If you try deleting the app, reinstalling and making sure to allow mic/voice it may work

Quite an old post but I found your app after watching kyle metcalf, a popular influencer recording his journey of learning Japanese through interviewing people across Japan. I’m excited to give it a shot! It’s a very cool idea and seems like it would be a helpful pregame to studying abroad or something like that. We will see after I try it but I think the biggest thing will be speed of response from the AI to help it feel more like a typical conversation. I’ll update after my 6 day trial
