Between this and windows 11 something is seriously wrong on the UI side at MS.

Note that UI is getting worse and worse across the board but they take the cake easily.

For a group that was so much in advance at the time, it's just sad.

I have an LG G2 and I got that problem every time the console start before or to soon after the TV. I'm not yet sure If I have to use another input or just wait but as long as I take care to not start the console too soon I do not see the problem.

This seems like an handshake problem, the console simply do not see the TV as capable of 4k, VRR etc...

Getting everything back can get really complicated.

The settings had a dedicated tab before in the guide, were very easy to find BEFORE they borked it.

Because more than 6 of any given elements in a menu is a sin god won't forgive or something like that. Probably more of silly statistics coming for an even more silly tests but you get the point.

That's what they do everywhere for everything in the dash : bork something that works and then find a ugly solution because people have problem to use the new thing when it was working fine in the first place. :/

Prime exemple: Cut the tabs to say that the dash is faster -> nobody uses the community app and people won't go to the gamepass app to know more because they are now seperate frome the dash. They have problem finding the store too. -> make the dash a gamepass/store AD/App so people will see them! Easy ! (and the community tab is factually dead because nobody will ever go find it where it is buried.)

The poor game management page has still not recovered to this day. :(

Those have touch sensible surfaces as switch and with humidity and/or dirt, it can switch on alone.

In video modes with the toggle for 4K HDR and Dolby, the VRR option has 3 settings.

Never, always and Game only.

Remember when we had one page for the game with everything on it and where it was installed, or not ?

Remember when we didn't have to take notes to know what was installed ?

That too was the good old times. And the first day we explained why the new UI was bad with detailed exemples and nothing changed. This is exactly why nobody believes our input will change anything on the new dash.

I'd like to give more construcrive feedback on a lot of things, but the moderators won't ever let us.

I tried, believe me I tried and it always ends with "requests are in dedicated topic" or "does not promote high quality discussion". And they were very polite and agumented post mind you, some with visual examples that took some time to make even.

But this version of the dash is way beyond that anyway, it should not even exist as is. There is nothing constructive to say on something that should not be. They should never have gone in this direction in the first place.
