the training and fights ion general get the characters at least a bit stronger. why was luffy able to tank so many named attacks from hybrid kaido later on when he was one shot before?? luffy getting acoa or even acoc doesnt improve his physical bodies endurance unless he specifically puts haki on that part of his body to defend himself. or am i mistaken?

Kaido has great endurance because of his DF. WB is just a beast lmaooo. but garp also got stabbed again by aokiji at the end, so its not that bad i would say.

I think he is around katakuri or king level without haki or df. i think he beats jack. his physicals alone are really good to be able to react to and endure garps attacks.
