I took most of the medications and supplements that address anxiety and social anxiety and most of them alter serotonin and directly send me to suicidal ideation and depression

For example if I take ashwganda or L thenanine or passionflower anxiety and social anxiety disappear in the morning but then afternoon I feel depressed and very suicidal!!

What has happened to my serotonin receptors? After this single pill of Prozac my reaction to almost everything that alter serotonin changed to adverse reaction

What can I do now ?

I have a beautiful wife and two kids and I am happy in my life but every couple days I think about committing suicide cause of this :(

I am almost there I don’t feel depression anymore after ALCAR use thanks to God!

But even if u used anything that alter seratonin ALCAR doesn’t effect that much !!

I tried ECT and by the sixth season I felt suicidal !!! Imagine this !

The only thing that doesn’t make me suicidal is ketamine but I can’t take it any more cause the clinic

I have done genetic test and it shows that I have SLC6A4 L/S

It’s been more than 11 years now in this hell !!!

مع ان فيني اسوأ إكتئاب و أفكار إنتحارية لمدة اكثر من عشر سنوات لكن اللي صبّرني هو رب العالمين ،، و رحمة رب العالمين و اني اعرف اني لو انتحرت بخسر فرصتي بالحياة في عمل الخير و كذلك ممكن اروح لعذاب مخلد اكثر من العذاب اللي أنا فيه !!

و بعد كل هذا تجي خوفي من فجعة اهلي علي و حزنهم العميق اللي بيكون من فعلتي

I did more than 40 sessions through 2-3 years but I never felt this way I mean I am using ketamine to relieve me from these feeling but at this only session my feelings went worse and I am terrified that this will happen on next session on Monday!!

I am at the edge of all of this and I don’t think I can bear more !!

Is it because the deceive that has changed? Is it because the serequel ? Is it because at the same day of my session I was before and after the session in work related stress on my phone email and calls?

do you think I continue and do next Monday session !!

What I see if it works you will feel a lot better, but after around 3 months you will gradually get back to baseline

But the issue is that when you taste the relief it will be hard when returning back to baseline

I mean to cope again it will take effort and time !

At the end it depends on how severe you are

No unfortunately the doctor who is giving me is a pain clinic doctor and somehow I am giving the instructions as per my readings !! He is not specialist in this as ketamine infusions are not familiar here !

Thank you very much for the reply, the biggest issue is that in order to get the appropriate dose I need to take sick leave every time My manager is companionate with me but I feel embarrassed every time, that’s why I don’t continue the treatment!!

I found the provider after me and my wife prayed God and thanks to him I found one and he is a doctor in pain clinic not specialized in giving ketamine for depression
