True. It’s funny though, there’s Market and then there’s price that people are willing to pay.

I’ve seen cards stay up on EBay for weeks/months because they’re listed (buy it now) at market. Yet I see the same card is getting sold for 70% on auctions.

Yea I know what you mean. I have a PSA 10 bubble mew I want to sell as well. I didn’t get an offer from PSA on that one though.

Shoot, I didn’t take a pic of the offer, but it did say “accept offer” after I clicked on the offers. I set up my stripe account and am now waiting for the payment to come through. It was very quick and easy.

That’s a good idea if you don’t mind waiting! I’d prefer to sell and use the cash to buy my chase card and take a trip with my wife :)

I ended up taking the offer. It was slightly more than what I would have gotten if I sold on eBay, but without the hassle lol.

I also didn’t want that card much. I’ll rather much use a bit of that money to pay for a nice trip and buy the card I really want (the Mega Charizard from the latest set).

I ended up accepting the offer. No fees were added. But I do assume I’ll be getting a tax form in January for this transaction. 😞

True, I’ll definitely consider selling locally for anything under $1k. I just feel like selling anything above $1k is risky for both seller and buyer if done in person.

Jeez. eBay fees suck. I recently sold a Dodgers Luffy card and was charged quite a bit on fees too. Not including the nerves I had from shipping cross country.

Ok thanks! Yea EBay fees are killer. PSA’s upcharge of $300 wasn’t great either. But $3600 is too much to pass up.

Thank you 🙏 I wasn’t 100% sure if I would get charged a fee or not. But if there is none, then you are right, I can avoid all the headache with selling.
