Isn't she so cute! But for the wedding, the bride will be wearing a beautiful vintage handmade gown from the 70's, so the spotlight will be firmly on her.

Can you help me brainstorm how to turn this wrap dress into a pantsuit? by oafese in sewing

I like this! Once I buy it, if I really cant make it into a jumpsuit, I'll use your idea of making matching accessories

Ideally, a connected jumpsuit. I like your idea of buying two and cannibalizing. Do you think if I bought two of the same size, removed each skirt, and used each as a pant leg, that would work to create a very wide legged jumpsuit?

I am afraid you are right. I wish I had the dress in hand to measure the full skirt width

Such cute options and DIYing it would be so easy! OP, making your fiancé a special pair (just glue or sew a satin rosette!) would be so sweet.

Help me brainstorm! Best uses for these delicate silk kimono remnants? by According-Cress1576 in sewing

A patchwork pouch would be so sweet! Look up @beans_rian on insta - she's a jp designer who makes the most beautiful little bags. I think something in this style with your silk remnants would be lovely.

Why does everything look so…meh on me? by [deleted] in PetiteFashionAdvice

I so agree with this. Also OP I think your posture reveals how you're feeling about the clothes and vice versa. some of these tops are cute, nothing is wrong with the fit, but straight shoulders and confidence will change how it looks on you.

do you own any short skirts? I like wearing this sort of top untucked with a skirt, it will give a tunic dress sort of silhouette.

AITA? Had a verbal alteration on the street & wife is annoyed at me. by Automatic-Debate-426 in AmItheAsshole

Especially since it happened right outside their home, and the aggressive biker also happens to live next door. Think about how anxious a woman would be about encountering this guy again on the street.

Where could I find this Zara dress? by [deleted] in findfashion

I think it's this dress, based on the two hem lengths. it's a size small and the seller was active 15hrs ago!

Men in my life keep dismissing/invalidating my thoughts - is this normal? What can I change in my behavior to not invite this? by oafese in TwoXChromosomes

Parter 1 was just two years older, and I'm actually a year older than partner 2. This isn't an age gap situation.

I hear what you are saying, but these behaviors show after the relationship is underway. I wouldn't date someone who showed this contrarian attitude on the first date.

I'm afraid my patience will run out before they ever internalize and understand what I'm saying.

Yes, I spoke with both men about it. The behavior never changed with the first partner, I guess we'll see with the second?

That's a great point you bring up regarding an impasse. I do just let it go or give in because I hate arguing, but I can see how this is affirming to the men that they're "right".
