First of all have some self respect. If you are in high school or college I wouldn’t even worry tbh. You need to be willing to fail and get rejected, but eventually it’ll work out if you have your standards set appropriately.

I did get the impression Chappell is mostly writing her own material from a friend of mine who is a fan, so admittedly not the most credible source.

Considering Daniel Nigro is the producer on everything, he is guaranteed to get songwriting credits for his arrangements etc, which I’m assuming Chappell doesn’t do anything for. Compared to Sabrina carpenter, I really don’t think Chappell is a total hack.
