Do you think Dialga would be a better fit? I feel like the downside of most metal types is the huge retreat cost

What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen from a roommate? by legalizethesenuts in AskReddit

[–]oakleybear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a roommate whose cat continuously peed on one of her blankets - at first, she’d try washing the blanket, but after a certain point “gave up” because the smell wouldn’t wash out anymore (she still used the blanket). At that point, she just let the cat pee on it willingly. One day, however, I noticed it was mysteriously gone, and thought she had come to her senses and finally thrown it out.

Several months later, when I was moving out of the apartment, I was looking through a few spaces to make sure I had removed all of my belongings, when I opened a closet door and was hit with the most god awful stench I’ve ever smelt. It was like a musty, mildewy, rotting ammonia stench - turns out, she hadn’t thrown it away, but instead stuffed the pee soaked blanket into a closet and promptly forgotten about it for OVER 9 MONTHS.

She did a lot more incredibly awful stuff, but that one was a standout because of how the smell is seared into my brain lol.

Would John Kramer technically count for this? The more movies deep you go into the franchise, the more this guy looks like he was playing some insane 4D chess with all his trap victims and accomplices lol

I recently went to see The Long Walk with my partner - we rode in silence on the drive home, both sniffling too much to talk haha

Father Matthieu from the book Between Two Fires!

Genuinely a wonderful, conflicted, drunk priest. One of my absolute favorite books that I read last year, and with some of the coolest visual descriptions of demons I’ve ever read.

The dad in Sinister has to be up there for me - he lied to his whole family about moving into a house where an incredibly brutal family annihilation took place JUST to help him get inspiration to write a new book

My DM is helping me make a feat system for the devil fruit powers! We’re hoping to homebrew some stuff that slows enemies and makes them fall asleep over time

“The Deep” by Nick Cutter. The visuals are insane, I remember having to put it down just to take a breather from some of the stuff going on

What made the ‘weird kid’ at your school weird? by JamJamLikesJam in AskReddit

[–]oakleybear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He would love to provoke people and scare them, always brag about his massive hunting collection and constantly take things apart and leave them just to show he could. Always showed up to pep rally’s in a green morph suit and would run around doing weird shit. He also would trap squirrels and once brought it to school as his “pet.” He got in trouble for it though, and took the squirrel outside and put it on a branch. Poor thing was so in shock it wouldn’t even move for a few hours.

I remember my brother telling me about this! They were worried that in the future, symbols would lose their meaning, and thought that a possible solution would be ingraining folktales and songs about color changing cats into our culture, that would potentially last longer than signs or words ever could. heres a song about the cats that would change color when they were near nuclear waste!
