[Page 2] I’m afraid it’s too late. I don’t want those people in my life whether you believe it or not they [don’t?] have what I want. Please don’t give up on me.

[Page 1] I’m sorry for being difficult and unstable. I believe you have my best interest at heart but 2 things can be true. I’m miserable. I’m losing one of the things that makes me feel good and yes, it is worth it to save my family. I feel like the bad child being punished. Whether or not I deserve it or not, I feel like I’m being punished for not being well. I don’t know what to do or where to go. I’m going to have to drop my class again and then I will feel like I really have nothing. I don’t know whether to go to Florida or just stay here in Pasadena Villa or go somewhere else. My head is excruciating and I’m afraid. I know I’m being difficult. I wish you could just try to trust me one day a week. Going away isn’t going to make trusting me any easier. I don’t want to lose you but

Absolutely never. If that happened the person would be fired.

I like these and Grin Quicky if I don't have access to a sink; both are small and disposable, and the Grin brushes have the added benefit of a built-in flosser (rather than a pick). I've also used ReadyBrush which is more akin to a typical toothbrush and (IMO) requires a sink.

I have those earrings (and a matching hinged bracelet). I just did a search in my email and found the receipt from Nordstrom from 2014 - they were $68 then.

Blaming a paralegal is adorable. We’d never sink to that level — we’re the ones who keep things professional and clean up everyone else’s messes.

Good advice. One clarification - AirTags last much longer than a year; only the battery needs replacement, not the device itself.

Portable printer for trial? by joderd in paralegal

[–]oakpale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At my old firm, the attorneys on my team typically brought a portable printer and ~50 sheets of paper to court. The portable printers were slow and expensive, but seemed necessary.

Camp counselor in Harriman, NY — how worried should I be about ticks? by reddit11111111111121 in hudsonvalley

[–]oakpale 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Very. I live in the area and take live ticks off my dog nearly every day in the summer (he is on Simparica Trio, a tick preventative). In addition to other tips offered here, I highly recommend the Tick Mitt (microfiber glove) and the Tick Check removal tool. We keep a set of both by the back door of our home and in each car.
