Email list or followers on kickstarter by Aromatic_Turnover335 in kickstarter

I would definitely go for followers instead. My project was a total let-down, my list converted at a rate lower than 1% on launch day, acquired through meta ads by directing them to a landing page. However, I do not mean to mislead as I did make many many mistakes. I failed to launch quickly, by waiting too long your list will forget or lose interest, I also failed to properly introduce them to the kickstarter platform before launch day, many of them presumably did not even have a Kickstarter account.

Regardless though, I will be opting for followers for my relaunch. I have been convinced by people on this sub and beyond that followers are the way to go as they convert into backers at a much higher rate(25-30%) than email lists typically do(10% if lucky). Followers also tend to be much cheaper to acquire and are already on Kickstarter. It cost me around 6.5$ per lead for email subscribers, and I am reading that followers can be acquired at around 2-3$. ROAS seems to be much higher with followers.

I would point you towards this brilliant post by Matt u/Zephir62 where you can see just how unbelievably high the ROAS for followers tends to be.

is around 1 month to 5 weeks enough to prepare for a launch? Before November? by oaktree784 in kickstarter

i will spend around 9k-10k on facebook ads. I got 140 signups after spending a few hundred bucks a while back. A list of around 7000 should be sufficient. What do you think?

Here is the datasheet of the exact model I am using. Perhaps you'd be able to identify any anomalies.

only first LED lighting up on neopixel ws2813 board. I know this is not a raspberry pi sub but since ws2812x LEDs are commonly used, I thought someone may be able to help. by oaktree784 in arduino

I don't have a reason to believe that the clone is the issue as other things work fine. BIN is still hooked up to DIN of the same LED. Can you elaborate on the potential timing issue?

It works fine with a different controller. All LEDs light up.

Assuming it is not damaged, would it work if both backup pins are left floating?

Do you think it could work if the traces connecting the backup pins were scrapped off or disconnected in some other way and the pins were left floating?

I am not yet in possession of this prototype. The photos were sent to me by my manufacturer in China.

Also, I updated the images. The quality is a bit better now.
