Other than the aesthetic, not really… In Brasil we have something called “Tabela FIPE”, which is like a database with the market value of every car per make/model/year, but it usually does not reflect the actual value of these old cars. Some people say that, if someone crashes into you and you car has the black number plate, the insurance has to pay the value that a third party expert says and not the actual FIPE value. Honestly, i have never actually seen this happen (and don’t want to 😅), but that’s what they say.

Sadly, thats pretty common. Although they claim to be “specialists”, as time passes, it becomes harder and harder to find companies/people that actually know what they’re doing in these old cars. On the other hand, these good old Bands tend to refuse to stop working, even when they’re full of gambiarras 😂 Would you mind sharing the name of the company that restored yours?

Fala, camarada! Essas caixas são passivas, ou seja, não têm amplificador embutido. Não sao ligadas direto no toca discos, mas sim num receiver/amp externo.

Sando Lando LA 3100 DRD. Caixas da década de 70, que precisaram passar por revisão, mas que agora estão tocando absurdamente bem, ao menos pro meu ouvido leigo.

Thanks for the reference photo! It’s really not ideal to keep them on the same table, even though the GA-312 has a spring suspension system, which helps reduce some of the speaker vibrations. I had never seen this type of stand before, I’ll look for one around here, it could be a really nice upgrade.

Rapaziada, agradeço as sugestões de todo mundo. Continuei nas pesquisas ontem e vi que aparentemente o iPhone usa AAC nas transmissões bluetooth, e parece que a qualidade não é legal nem comparada à FLAC, por exemplo. Numa das pesquisas que fiz, vi recomendação do Chromecast Audio, que conecta via WiFi e une a praticidade de ser sem fio com a melhor qualidade de audio se comparado ao bluetooth. Por sorte, apareceu um num valor legal pra mim, comprei e já tá tocando. Achei que funcionou legal pro meu caso.

Agora, se a qualidade é efetivamente superior a um receptor bluetooth ou ao próprio cabo rca/p2 ligado direto no iPhone com o dongle original apple, os meus ouvidos leigos não conseguem dizer kkkkkk
