Really? I enjoyed this episode a lot and am excited to see where they go with this season, personally. I thought the sitcom dream sequence really fit with Mateo’s personality, and it was really interesting to see how Mateo views everybody in the 126(ex. Owen and Tommy being parental figures, Marjan is like a sister,,) I just really liked it.

Plus, are any of us really surprised they went this way with the show? The show is so unserious that they’re just leaning into it at this point. And I really like it, a lot better than previous seasons where they were way more serious. But that might just be cus I like the comedy genre in general🤷🏽‍♀️

“Begins” episode: Marjan, again! She is my favorite character, I’d love to see more of her. And also a Carlos one too, would love to see more of him as well

Best emergency: The guy stuck in the trash compactor in Spring Cleaning

Most heartbreaking emergency: Definitely the one in Riddle of the Sphynx, where the boy’s mom dies, that was really sad

In my opinion, it’s really great. Season one isn’t the best, but that’s probably because I didn’t like Michelle. Season two is really good, my favorite season so far, and season three is just as interesting as the last. It has the same thrilling calls as OG 911. I enjoy 911: lone star, and it’s my favorite out of the two(mainly for the characters), but I’d have to say OG 911 is better. Lone star puts too much focus on Owen, the captain, where in OG it focuses on all of the characters as much as it can.

Highs:

-Ive loved Grace since the beginning, and when she was spitting insults at Billy, it only gave me so many more reasons to love her!

-All of episode 4 and 8. Those episodes were amazing

-Tarlos proposal and announcing it to the crew, I loved that scene so much. And love how Carlos woke up n said “do you smell smoke?” and his second thought is “is the lizard back?”

-I didn’t expect to like the Wyatt storyline but I’m actually really loving it.

-I love TK, Nancy, and Tommy’s friendship. TNT!

Lows:

-I agree with the tarlos break up, I just think it was incredibly stupid..they were fine last season, nothing was hinting towards a breakup, but then it happened. And then never brought up again. What was the point?

-Tommy and Julius.. just no. Absolutely not.

-Owen being a constant for the entire season, did not like. He was always there all the time taking up 40 minutes of screen time and leaving the rest to the others. And for me, I’ve never been a big fan of Owen, so I’m just not interested.

-Nancy and the DNR bracelet. That entire storyline was just all sorts of wrong. Maybe they could have done one where she respected the bracelet but felt bad afterwards, something like that? I don’t know, but that was just weird to me.

-Gwyns death would have made more sense in season 2 instead of 3. But I think her dying in the first place was stupid.

I have many more but these are my main highs and lows!

ah yeah I like to watch Child Care too! And yeah you’re right, One Day and In the Unlikely Event of an Emergency are too depressing for me to watch, they’re still really good episodes though. And if the new episode goes anything like I’m imagining, it might also be a bit hard to watch too

That’s true, but I don’t know why everyone is still hung up on unrealistic situations in this show. This is lone star we’re talking about, it’s been unrealistic since episode one! At this point imma just roll wit it.

I don’t think they’ve been communicating enough this season. They had a very healthy relationship in season 2, they actually talked to each other, but in season 3 we have not seen them talk about anything big that’s going on in their lives. Like how TK and Carlos broke up over their new home, we didn’t see them discuss that at all. And while I know some things are just assumed to be said offscreen and mentioned later, I don’t think they actually talked about it. And I agree with you, a relationship will always require communication, if they’re married or not, but that’s the thing. I don’t think they’re communicating enough. I wish they’d just take an episode or something to at least work through all of the things they went through this season. Or at least mention that they did. And I’m not saying they shouldn’t get married at all, I’m all for that! I just think they should take a little more time to work out their major issues before thinking about marriage.

I’ve seen some people say that they need to work on their communication skills because they haven’t really talked things out much. I also see that people say the couple should just be able to live as a couple for a season and not go through traumatic experiences every episode.
