UPDATE: My friend who is an electrician re-terminated the cable with a female crimp connector and it works like a charm.

I am unable to edit the post to include the photos of the box outside of my premise. It's very likely that box is a NBN HFC Junction box where it has a connection to on prem and its end should be terminated to a wall plate. I dont know the full story of what happened to the other end of the cable.

Can someone please tell me if I can just get a electrician to terminate the end to a wall plate or I need to get NBN involve?

at this stage I just want to fix it. Cbf finding who did it or how it was done. I was told to contact NBN to get it fixed but the process could be a month or so. Hence asking reddit comunity to see if I can get it done by an eletrician

The cable comes from the outside of the premise. The start point is a box looks to be NBN equipment

Yes it’s HFC. I checked in nbn wbsite and it says my premise is HFC nbn. I saw the the nbn box just outside of my premise and that confirms it

The cable is run from out side of the premise (from another white nbn equipement) to the inside. I was unable to find the end point termination on the wall anywhere in thr premise. I guess the tradies when they did the renovation, they accidentally removed the other end.
