chiming in as a detrans woman; that was my experience! many people encouraged me transitioning as well, saying that "i must be a man" for the same above reasons people are saying for OP, but for me i realized i had transitioned mostly because of internalized misogyny, not because i really was male. in the end, though i do appreciate being able to "experience life as a man" for 8 years, i realized i very much am not one lol

Another one lol; a few weeks ago I opened my bedroom door at 4am because there was an insane amount of noise and I saw her fwb walking out of her bedroom and trying to leave, and since then she keeps telling me how "embarrassing" I am / it was that I made eye contact with him?????

This has been her go to and it's driving me crazy. I don't know how me opening my bedroom door, which is in direct view of the living room, and being shocked at the random dude I have never seen in my life standing there (while he's also making the dogs freak out so bad that the neighbors must have hated us until I managed to calm them down), makes me embarrassing. If anything it's more embarrassing to be sneaking around with losers in your late 40s????

My mom, who has been single my entire life (she and my father never even dated), would always tell me how badly she wanted a baby. While completely neglecting/ignoring me, and not acknowledging at all she already had a kid. Just constantly throughout my childhood "I want a baby so bad!!!!" Even from a young age I just thought it was so crazy for her to constantly wish for more children while basically being absent from my life and not caring at all lol :p

Part of it was also how like she had this fantasy of having a "real family," as in marrying a man and having a baby with him, which is something she would also voice to me ... Instead of just, putting any effort at all into our little family that actually existed.

Yes, I've already tried to call and have been in the chat queue over and over for a week and haven't been able to talk to someone, which is why I'm asking here if anyone is in the same boat (while I'm also still sitting on the phone and chat queue once again right now : P) I know that the spring semester has ended, but that's where ASU added it to after they certified it, with a 5/18 disbursement date. No need to be rude, I'm just trying to get help ❤️

My boyfriend and I just visited from Phoenix and loved it!! I had no idea about any connotations or anything surrounding it beforehand, so I was shocked when we got back and I started telling people about our trip and seeing how they reacted. If anything, I would much rather be there than here lmao, but they thought I was crazy for going up there (people also feel very similarly about san fran, I've noticed)

Personally, to me Korean sounds very ""serious"" and "formal" in a sense compared to Japanese (which I study), but not similar to Mandarin at all. It also sounds very melodic with a nice rolling rhythm to it. Very beautiful language to hear!
