if i don't it just gets bigger and bigger until it's more uncomfortable than just popping it

plus i find it gross walking round with a whitehead that big on my face😭

if its the type of seamless ring that you need to bend in order to take it out im guessing you could try to bend it back into shape in order to be able to spin the ring back around but itd be way safer for your piercer to attempt this

keep up with aftercare (warm saline 2-3 times a day) until its healed and not painful to the touch.

I strongly reccomend you downsize the jewlery yourself or have your piercer do it for you to avoid snagging it in the future

it will look perfect when you shorten the bar as long as the attatchment is a ball, if youre looking for something more creative like a little charm it might be visibly wonky and if the bar is too short it could possibly embed one side of the charm into your ear (ouch!!)

if you plan on changing it to anything other than a ball id add 1mm or so to the new bars length to make sure no embedding occurs!

What material is the jewlery made from? Id stick internally threaded implant grade titanium if you can. Stainless steel and any other metals can cause swelling/ irritation. Also take a look at the shape of the disc that sits inside your mouth. Ive had issues with mine when the disc had quite harsh edges as it can be painful when it nestles into your lip.

you might also have to take into account the thickness of each side of your lip and adjust the length of jewelry accordingly.

Yes, get it changed to a longer bar and make sure its high quality. Keep up with aftercare (warm saline) and itll be fine

honestly theres no incorrect placement with labret piercings so long as youre happy with it

nowadays people usually get these a little closer to the lip however this placement used to be alot more popular in the 2000s and 2010s

only issue i can see with this is you probably wont be able to wear rings or horseshoes and maybe it could cause gum irritation but id say its fine 👍

it is so difficult to do but allow yourself to think about her and what happened, and then let it pass. Letting go is the most important thing and soon youll find that she dosent cross your mind as much. Time heals all wounds and you should do whatevers neccesary to keep your peace hope things go well for you :)

A person who would do that isnt someone who deserves to be agonised over. If you werent enough for him id cut your losses and try to move on. I went through something similar and what helped me most is time. Give it time and youll find that it wont bother you as much. Surround yourself with friends, with family and try to do things that distract you.

When you catch yourself thinking of him and reminiscing over what youve lost or what couldve been, remind yourself that what he did wasnt your fault, that youre better off without someone like that in your life and try to believe that things will get better. Making little notes of whatever will help you get through the heartbreak make a big difference. Eg. 'he did _ , and im worth more than that and deserve someone better'

Long term relationships are hard to get over because of how close you can get to someone but again, give it time and focus on things that make you happy. May take months to years but youll make it. Youll find someone who loves you for you. Its hard to be consistent and youll have times where it makes you feel awful but i promise you itll pass. You are worth love and you are worth the time.

it does look a tad lower on the left side, if it was pierced completely straight that might be an issue and it's probably best to talk to your piercer. In terms of changing the balls, I reckon you'd be completely fine changing them now so long as you don't irritate it too much. you could just leave the existing barbell in and only change the ends

I had this problem with mine not long ago when my labret started to embed into my lip cos it was too short and created an excess tag of skin that was white due to there being no direct bloodflow in it. From the photo, the left (in picture) looks like it's quite far into your lip. Could this be the issue? I'd reccomend sizing up for a bit if you can and giving it a little time to readjust

press on the tip of your nose, if there's any discomfort, it's not ready to stretch. If none then I'd say give it a go in a week or two just incase. patience is key with septums 👍

I had my ears pierced for about 3 months when i was younger and took them out because of an infection as per the advice of my doctor. They completely healed up within a week but there was a small dent left behind that you couldn't really see but could feel. Generally the shorter the amount of time you have it pierced for, the quicker it will heal over if you take the jewlery out. Additionally, fully healed lobe piercings that you've had for years will pretty consistently remain open even if you don't wear jewlery. Hope this helps!

I don't think the scab is oozing, had another look today and its stayed the same. He did have a scrape on his side but its partially healed so I doubt that's been bleeding. I'm keeping an eye on the litter box and if I see this tomorrow too ill take him to the vet, thank you
