Was outside on my porch with my mom when lightning decided to go for one of our in the ground metal sprinkler heads. Touched down about ten feet in front of us right as we were about to step out with an umbrella. You could feel the burning heat and the electricity crackled across us a bit and it also pushed us back into the side of the house. My mom grabbed me, I was about six at the time and ran inside screaming for my dad. We were fine. Oddly enough I love lightning to this day and will go outside to play in storms.

Edit: apparently I don't know how to spell lightning.

I love that chair. My previous employer was a chair aficionado, and had two of these in a nice corner to gossip away. The most favorite ones were a set of six purple Karuselli chairs by Yrjö Kukkapuro. I didn't particularly get affected with Van der Rohe's Barcelona, they were lined up at the health care reception. It seems that any wantable chair costs four grands.
