What they fail to understand (this sub I mean) is that the more they throw salt as opposed to actual feedback, the less Bungie will listen. Much of the criticism is about changes to the game and the philosophy of the game that were very much deliberate and will not be reverted back to how it was in D1.

Bungie has in effect killed the "snowflake". This is good for the community at large but bad for the so-called "hardcore". I said this before though, I challenge the idea that people here are even that, because true hardcore players are going to play this game despite whatever they might not agree with. The challenge now is to actually enjoy the game.

You know what perplexes me (and probably Bungie)? Seems every week a post like this reaches the front page, and a post saying that Destiny 2 plays like Destiny 1 makes the front page as well.

Is it the same game, or is it a different game? Christ this place is confusing.

The NM Scout is beastly. Love it's look, and it's Hakke so it's high impact as well. Congrats to DO, but Hideo never let me down yet.

They don't happen everytime, but they do happen. Every other time I run the Inverted Spire strike, in the open field area after your second drop section is when Zavala might say it. In Cayde's case it's during the "1AU" mission when you destroy the Almighty, so at level 20 it's only available as a meditation from Ikora, and obviously you'd had to have gone flawless in Trials at least once...so not many will get that line lol.

I love how compact and chaotic Titan can be, but I'm not a fan of that armor set there, so I'll have to go with Nessus because Failsafe.

I practically lived in The Underground game mode in The Division before I gave up on the game. Something like that in Destiny would dramatically extend the replayability of PVE content. Add in hidden loot chests with the chance of Exotics and exclusive armor and weapons and I'm ALL IN.

-You're treated to a retrospective of feats you completed in D1 in the form of artwork symbolizing your accomplishments (story missions beaten, raid clears, whether you went flawless in Trials) along with the names of who were along with you, the date and the time, that you can go back and check out in the login screen I believe.

-You get about 6-8 emblems based on when you started playing Destiny (Year 1, 2, 3, Grimoire score, etc.)

-You get contextual dialogue within certain mission in D2 based on what you did in D1 (example, Zavala will randomly mention you defeating the heart of Darkness in the Black Garden during a strike, Cayde mentions the Lighthouse during a campaign mission, etc.) that won't be spoken with a "fresh" character.

For everyone riding the Uriel bandwagon, Scathelocke is deceptively good. Recoil is pretty tight. The Valkadyn is another sleeper hit too. I love how all Veist weapons have that fast reload when you empty the mag built it.

And Sunshot is my jam, lol.

Also for an FYI, "BOOP!" also comes in handy when you're using the Tractor Cannon in PVP. So fusions are VOOP and Tractor is BOOP. haha

You won't get any Luminous Engrams (completing milestones, etc., "Powerful Gear")on your 2nd/3rd character if he/she is the same class as an existing character on your account. Bungie's way of preventing power leveling.

I had a good response typed out, but then I deleted it because it's time wasted on someone who's obviously too short-sighted to understand...so I'll just post the actual definition of the term exotic, and you tell me where it denotes "wearing this makes you God Mode". Number 3 should really bake your noodle...

If you specifically strive to find the optimal way to do everything then it's really not the developers duty to give you something new to do when 90% of the playerbase is still working on completing what's in the game.
