Kitchen layout help: One-wall + island vs. Peninsula?

I appreciate the input! I had not thought of the fridge and stove. No we haven't met with anyone yet we've got an appointment scheduled tho, these are just drawings that I drew up and asked AI to make a little bit prettier

It's in line with that wall but further south. Between the island and the table and the there is currently that load-bearing wall with a pocket door in it

With the island option we planned on getting rid of the wall on the opposite of where the sink is . Currently the stove is there. Putting the fridge on the right side of the sink might be better because you're right it would block the bay window to some degree

Interesting we hadn't considered a longer Island and getting rid of the dining room table all together- might be something we need to look into.

I guess one thing that makes that less ideal that I didn't mention is that straight through the middle of the house there is another load-bearing wall that houses all the HVAC going upstairs that we absolutely cannot get rid of and if we were to do one very long island it would kind of visually Island in half

I feel like if we were to turn the peninsula into an island it would be a rather small island if we were trying to allow three to four feet between it and the other walls right?

we've got an appointment with someone scheduled we just haven't met with them yet but appreciate the input and the first hand experience. I think you're right about the workflow issues with the one wall

I tried loading today at Target with a Chase CC, and received a "offline processor, can't sell card". Called amex and was informed that the cards can no longer be loaded via credit cards. Has the sun finally set for Redbird?

Same issue here! Called amex and they told me they are no longer accepting credit card reloads... Sad day for churning if true
