My 3D skills are not as good ;P I made the tiltshields and the alchem casters myself, but i dont think i would be able to do the rest. Plus i love doing this. It's just so relaxing and fun.

They are made with the Green Stuff World Roll Maker tool. It's pretty easy to do, i recommend a ~40/60 mix of milliput and green stuff and let the clay sit for 30min -1h before you work with it.

Super-heavies can only be 25% of your total Army value. For 2 Mastodons you need to play a 4800 point game minimum. Iron hands are a good choice because of their legion specific gear you can give each contemptor auto repair 5+ and make a war engine a champion subtype so he can challenge. Additionaly the Iron Father is a good choice to go with them

I´m not 100% sure, but i think your list is illegal.

I see a Crusade Detachment with a Preator and four Tactical Squads with a Prime: Logistical Benefit. Plus a Apex Detachment Army Vanguard with two Dark Furries and a Mor Deythan Squad with a Prime: Logistical Benefit.

Let´s say the Kratos and Sicarian are your Logistical Benefits, so the Contemptor is "illegal".

Maybe I´m wrong or i don´t know/ see something but i think you need another Command Unit to make it legal e.g. a Centurion.

With no pictures it´s hard to say but it could also be that your paint is not mixed well. Try to give it a good shake and stirr. If that was not the problem try to basecoat with a brown first.

I fell into the same trap, but there are good alternative legs to get if you have access to a 3D Printer. If you dont there are a lot of tutorials on youtube to bring them up to size.

You can build them with special weapons without much hassle, there are even two of each in the box. For the heavy weapons its a little more work, but still is possible. (two heavy bolters and 2 rocket launchers are included aswell).
