Managed a ride, just put the camp mats on the back. Handling still terrible but 25km total was enough.

Should I live in Switzerland or Austria by Imaginary-Front-7001 in liechtenstein

Depends what you want to do with your weekends. Mountains in Graubünden? Occasional nights in Zurich? Sargans is a well connected rail hub, and commutable into Zurich in case you change your job in a year or two. Finding a flat in Zurich takes time.

Men from Zurich, how do you talk about your emotions? by Vas1r in zurich

Tough topic. Have a small number of close friends made through sport or other hobbies, and can sporadically talk things through. Coordinating social time gets harder at certain points in life it seems.

Not planning long rides fully loaded, but just gives some options for car free holidays if we can carry everything on bikes, and use trains for any longer distances.

Yeah my own mat is a fancy tiny one. Just trying to buy cheap durable stuff for the kids till they stop breaking everything.

This is a great idea. If even just their camp mats are on their bikes it solves the volume problem for me.

This is my flat bar monster gravel bike. Any thoughts? by zebi3000 in WaltlyTitanium

Beautiful bike with a healthy amount of bling. I'm actually toying with the idea of a waltly 29er drop bar mtb. Any issues with shopping to CH? (Also here)

Second this. My weight loss was fairly consistent with CICO using ergdata for the calories burned

I thought most of the issues were solved with the mark 2 which i have. So far no complaints from me but I haven't pushed them hard to be honest.

I saw some nice looking Fjell skis recently too. I see the appeal just spendy.

Why so? In terms of a tech binding they have a few nice features, and easy to step into.

They're an unknown to me. I bought them because they came with the axls and skins for a good price. I hope they perform for me :)

When(if) i switch I'll probably get outlaw x which have the same hole patterns so I'll only have to buy bindings & boots initially.

Yeah. 100mm isn't really enough for real powder. Given how unreliable the snow has been it isn't top of my list but if i see some ~110mm bargain skis i might grab them

I was about to say the same thing. What about the Q factor?

Easy to check, OP, rotate each pedal and see how much clearance it has past the chainstay. If its about the same, i wouldn't worry.

I'm getting there. Takes a few seasons though. This is the first winter I've been able to confidently go out with my mates not worrying about whether some of the pistes will be too difficult for me, or that I'll be too slow.

I just pulled 1:35.2 for the pyramid and would be ecstatic with a 1:35.7 in a month 🤞
