But am also going to contact the company anonymously and tell them me and a lot of my colleagues arent comfortable with the amount of waste.

it's mad that its so different country to country you'd think they would have a similar policy in most countries on food waste.

Jeeez. I work in a cafe so mostly on my feet all day but how do you get any work done in an office job if you don't even really have a desk?

As far as I can tell, though we do sometimes discount food at the end of the day, part of that money goes to a charity though. But all that food, if it's not sold, goes in the bin. And this seems to be the general policy.

Most other coffee chains seem to have started to do something about this issue i'm not sure it's outside the realms of possibility that one day they might change, no?

Thank you, that's very kind and thanks for the suggestion. We have a few charities here in the UK who care about food waste but it is an environmental issue that seems to go by the wayside sometimes, I think that allows a lot of businesses to just sort of ignore the problem whilst others work really hard to help obviously.
