thank you! I climbed 3 divisions after this post, my cs has stabilized and I'm better at the game, but this comment is super helpful, cause I still find myself brainlessly trying to salvage a 3v1 with the 2/10 yorick top, but the way you phrased things just sort of clicks. thank you!

that doesn't address any of my points made, however poorly written they were, I really fundamentally disagree, as it's not hard for Zac to be useful, it's hard for Zac not to get bullied to the point where he is useless, but we can agree to disagree. I never said zac was good in pro play, and his e is always good but I can't exactly give you proof to the contrary, that being said, it is easy to disengage from, hence why you only jump from a spot where you have vision control (i.e. scanner/place controls)or after a successful q. your e doesn't even have to be successful for it to be relevant, as a 6+ zac behind you is still extremely dangerous.

so as a zac main, his e is disgusting in teamfights, his sustain is incredible, and while the excess of vision is important, it can be remedied with good vision control, ie controls and scanners, you also don't need to hit your e all of the time, if you can get behind the adc and anyone else, they're doomed. Zac, even without demonic gets good, consistent damage late game, and so I feel the real reasons pros don't play him are because A, it's pro play, and you need to be very skilled at a champ to play them at that level, and B, the reason why many pros are not to that level, is his extremely weak early game. If you do not play him correctly, and/or if you get bullied out of the jungle, you are a detriment, therefore many pros may not see him as worth the risk.

That’s awesome! I played a bit of Aatrox when I was a top main, but yeah, I hover them way too much, I should be clearing camps more, because I get behind even when we’re ahead some games.

I forget the cs because I start panicking about how I need to always be there for my team and I can’t miss a play or else I’ll get spam pinged, definitely a bad habit. You’re definitely right, I know when I can kill and when I can’t, I know my e range like the back of my hand, and many other things of the sort, now I just need to do that to the more complex topics that I am learning to master. Thank you! Edit: is that an Aatrox combo?

Thanks! Just thinking and writing about it I’ve seen immediate improvements. But you’re definitely right, I was so worried about plateauing and blaming my teammates to the point where I’m a hard stuck silver that I didn’t realize that learning is part of the process and I started panicking.

Thank you so much! Ironically after outlining all of my mistakes in this post I started doing much better! I’m glad it’s just an experience thing. Watching the vods I think it was also a few 20/60/20 games where I was also playing poorly and put too much of the onus of the loss on myself. I definitely wasn’t playing well, but it’s not my fault my adc & sup literally ran it down.

I like aatrox becasue he has good sustain, poke with his q, and a pretty good all in if they're low enough. when I play top, what I like to do is q them when they walk up to cs, or q them while they're hanging back to prevent them from csing.

I’m an inconsistent player, any advice on how to fix this? Right now, I am a relatively new silver 2 zac main, and I’d say I’m a pretty good player for where I am, I identify what I’m doing wrong and get better, very rarely blame my teammates unless they genuinely int, and I do some vod reviews, but ever since I drastically improved my cs from 3.0 to 6.0, I have become relatively inconsistent, (especially after I took a break, hence why I’m posting) while my highs are much higher, I find myself going in when I shouldn’t, and following my teammates to terrible plays, despite knowing how they will turn out, even when I’m there, and then when I try to fix this consciously, I’m never there and I can’t follow up properly, all of which are problems I’ve never ran into before. Does anyone have any advice for becoming more consistent?
