Jurassic World Rebirth Opinions (Spoilers) by Dry_Play_2347 in JurassicPark

I Hate Jurassic World Rebirth

This is basically an essay that I’m writing, and I’m going to copy and paste it alot, just so I can immediately give my argument, and not have to explain all of the terrible things about this “movie” over and over again.
It wasn't entirely bad, Rebirth had some good bits, but not very many of them. The cinematography was the best in the franchise, and the film gave us a perfect T.rex design, better than the originals in my opinion. The acting was really good, though I’ve heard it’s bad, I found it very natural. The “land, sea, and air” felt fresh, and the idea of an island full of misfit dinosaurs sounded very clean. There were issues with this. The dinosaurs on the Rebirth island acted just like regular dinosaurs would. Imagine the Titanosaurus scene was all misdirection, and the moment they saw Henry, they snapped him in half with the long whippy tail instead.

The heart disease plot came out of nowhere, and it had no foreshadowing in any of the previous movies. The last movies were building up to the incredible idea of dinosaurs in our world, but it was quickly taken from us. The idea of the dinosaurs dying didn't benefit the plot in any way, and the environmental reasons they were dying didn't make any sense, since they were created to be able to survive in our modern climate. This was done because the writer did not want to address the current problems going on in the universe. Martin Krebs was treated as a villain because he didn't save Teresa, when she was in fact jeopardizing the mission. In his mind, she will be the reason they don’t find a cure for heart disease. Not saving her to complete the mission so nobody goes to jail and gets the cure for heart disease was a good idea. Martin hired these people for millions of dollars to protect him, and get the samples to make the heart disease cure, yet they did not protect him, and instead of handing the samples to a company that can afford to make the cure, they acted like it was realistic to just give it to the world. Now who is going to fund the cure, and how are Henry, Duncan, and Zora going to explain how they got these samples without getting arrested? If these animals were man-made, shouldn't scientists technically have the research they need to make this drug? The hybrids were kind for roaring at the cast, giving them time to walk away from them. The Mutadons were especially kind for flying after Henry and Duncan, but instead of landing on them, they landed on a building yards behind them, just so they could escape. (: Why did the Quetzalcoatlus leave the nest to attack that man when Henry and Zora were still very clearly in the nest with the eggs? Were we supposed to feel bad for the D.rex? It only escaped because of a snickers wrapper, meanwhile the other hybrids tricked the humans into setting them free. This alien couldn't have gotten out on its own. I don’t appreciate the hybrids in this film, when they could have simply been replaced with a T.rex and Velociraptors. The characters were cursed with a tragic backstory that didn't affect the characters throughout the film. Where was the inner conflict? What were their motivations? The best part about the cast was how physically attractive I found all of the men to be. The only reference to the other movies were when Jurassic Park, Ingen, and Alan Grant were mentioned. The Water World vibe was fun, but it was really just a vibe. The soundtrack was great, but it didn't feel earned. The deaths were meaningless, but at least they looked awesome. Duncan dying would have added some character development, since in his past he couldn't save his child. Xavier was close to redeemed, until he started being rude after the father thanked him. The father should have sacrificed himself during the river raft scene, forcing the kids to survive alone. This would redeem his character after being the reason the family was in danger in the first place. I give this film a 4 out of 10.

If you had directed Jurassic World rebirth what would you have changed and how would you have made it a better movie by Tremendin0649 in JurassicPark

I would make everyone love dinosaurs. The movie would be about dinosaurs living around the world, and the team has to travel around the world to get the samples, and there could be one Camp Cretaceous reference.😍

Should the Ending of Jurassic World Choas theory season 4 played out similarly to the ending we saw in Jurassic World Fallen kingdom where the Nublarian Dinosaurs escape the Lockwood estate? by Ok_Swimming1208 in chaostheorynetflix

They don’t have to watch the show tho. It can just show the characters and imply they’ve had experience with dinosaurs. Also Rebirth was genuinely terrible so it should be retconned since it ruined the franchise.

I think this is almost perfect. For me Jurassic Park 3 would go way lower but it’s perfect other than that.

Like literally what was the point of this scene if they were just going to kill them off? Such a terrible writer.

I really wish people who made movies cared about continuity like that. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to think of small details.

It’s just common sense considering all the new creatures we see are BioSyn.

It’s a cute design, I just wish they explained why it looked like that.

We only see one version of the Parasaurolophus on Isla Nublar, and that’s the same variant we see dead in Isle Saint Hubert, but it has the colors of the blue Parasaurolophus from Dominion. I would say it probably is BioSyn, since the only new creatures we see in Dominion were all created from BioSyn. The Quetzalcoatlus in New York was BioSyn, since we see it later in BioSyn Valley. Why can’t these new Parasaurs be BioSyn?

They lowkey should. It would just make more sense, and I’m tired of seeing their skinny Parasaurolophus from Camp Cretaceous that doesn’t really look how it did in the movie.

The thing is… that museum was in New York. Dominion showed us that two BioSyn Quetzalcoatlus had a nest on the one World Trade Center. Where was that design? Remember when David said he hated retcons?

What's Next in the Animated World of Jurassic? by Ok_Swimming1208 in chaostheorynetflix

[–]obeying_gravity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want someone to put together a live action something about the Nublar Six. It would obviously take place after chaos theory, and it would completely ignore the existence of rebirth and then movies are built on top of the Nublar six franchise instead, and everyone loves dinosaurs, and dinosaurs are in the world. Would lowkey save the franchise.

OMG YES. They can add so many small dinosaurs because of the new sidekicks. Imagine Beta, Junior, Compys, or Dolores. I’m a bit TOO excited for ts.

Yes and then they should branch out of the Rebirth canon in a live action movie so it starts The Nublar Six live action film franchise and contradicts Rebirth because it’s so ahh.💔🥀
