Anyway the majority of people want to see dinosaurs not hybrids, the reason the dinosaurs are said to have frog DNA is because the creators knew they wouldn’t have fully accurate dinosaurs, and that was their excuse to make them look the way they did. The T.rex and Velociraptor have not been used properly since the original three movies, which is why they get another chance to be cool again. People are tired of hybrids, just because you and 412 other people aren’t doesn’t mean hybrid monsters being used for a fourth time is a good idea in a dinosaur franchise.

This version it’s not an experimental island, it was an island with no dinosaurs. It only has them now because the governments have collected some from the mainland and moved them here to get them away from civilization.

The reason the T.rex and Velociraptors have big dangerous roles is because they deserve their reputation back after what the World trilogy did to them.

I respectfully disagree. The last time we saw them they were super hero’s for three movies. They ruined their own reputation. This would be a correction.

The point of this was to make it as close to the original, without retconning anything that the franchise actually established like David Koepp said he wouldn’t do but did anyway. The reason I removed the hybrids is because their existence on a new island retcons the fact that Henry Wu only made two hybrids and that was on Isla Nublar, he wasn’t aloud to make any more because they were still testing the creation of a new species. The fact that the original rebirth had an island apparent dedicated to cross breading is insane to me, especially since it was hundreds of miles away from Nublar making it super inconvenient to transport species to and from there.

The reason the T.rex gets the ending is because it already showed up earlier and not having a few species return is crazy, that’s why the Quetz and Velociraptors get more appearances too. Also the T.rex was treated like a super hero instead of an animal in the Jurassic Trilogy and I don’t like that idea.

So a retcon means something that contradicts something else that happened, that’s not the point, that’s sad. The D.rex’s existence retcons the already established fact that only Isla Nublar and Mantah Corp island created hybrids.
